Rowan instantly grabbed Seraphine and pulled her back. All the sorcerers went down from their horses and circled Seraphine and Rowan. The knights did the same thing too.
Cries of terror and fear rang from all over the city. The people started to panic and were running to each of their homes.
"I didn't do that," Seraphine found herself whispering to Rowan. She looked at him with pleading eyes.
"I know," Rowan said. He put Seraphine on one of the sorcerer's horses and climbed behind her. After gifting instructions to the knights to secure the people and end the parade, he rode the horse with Seraphine to return to the castle. Ren, few other sorcerers, and some knights followed suit to guard them with their respective horses. Hilda stayed behind to inspect the scene as Rowan instructed.
