Seraphine had been awake for almost an hour. She refused to move and would just lie on the bed, looking at the chandelier that was identical in almost every low-tier noble mansion. A round chandelier with round candles on it. She flicked her wrist. The tendrils of shadows rose to the chandelier. She could summon seven now. Ten, when she really concentrated. Seraphine played with the candlelights on the chandelier. Shutting the light one by one. There were eighteen candles, and she snuffed out one candle for every five minutes.
