He stood frozen in the doorway. His mouth dropped open in surprise and his eyes wide and unblinking, as if he was afraid that if he closed them I would disappear. Tears welled in my eyes.
"Levi" I breathed. My heart was racing, and my hands shook in my lap. Maxim had let us all know he was on his way back with Levi and I had asked for everyone to clear out and give me some time alone with him. There were so many things I needed to say. So many things I needed to tell him and get off of my chest.
