Levi and I lay together in his bed later that night. He had asked if I wanted to go back to my house but I adamantly refused. The anxiety and the pain I felt at even walking up to the property was too much for me to handle. I had asked if we could stay at his house and he smiled at me and kissed my forehead with a nod. Levi ran into my house with Miles and they each packed a couple of bags for things we would need to stay at his house.
I had planned on talking to him about what our living arrangements would be since we were mated. Mates could never stray too far from one another.
