Luna to Two Clans

Meeting Her Parents

        On the drive home we talked about how the day went and made plans for how things would go from there. When we got back home, we unpacked our overnight clothes and then I mind linked with Sapphire to see how she was and made plans to go meet our parents.

        ‘Hey sis. How are you?’

        ‘I am good. I had a wonderful night and went shopping with Ryan’s mother and sister today. We forgot to buy me shoes when we went shopping yesterday.’

        ‘Oh shoot. I thought we forgot something. I am glad they took you. So, we are home and from what I gathered Rosemary will be here soon with her daughter and our parents. I thought it would be nice if we went to meet them.’

        ‘I agree. Shall we meet in the middle of the boy’s houses and walk to the main entrance?’

        ‘Sure, that sounds good. I have something to tell you. My wolf changed last night.’

        ‘Wait what? I am heading over so we can talk about it.’

        ‘I will meet you in the middle. Aiden is staying behind. Him and his dad are preparing a space for all of them.’

        ‘Okay. Ryan will go help them. Get us some girl time.’

        After that we cut off the mind link and walked to meet each other.

        “Hey sis,” I said when we got close enough.

        “Hey. So, what do you mean by your wolf changed?”

        “Well I let him mark me” I said while showing her. “And after he marked me, I kept feeling like something was different with her and sure enough there was. She now has his family crest, which is the sign of this pack, on her forehead.”

        “Wow that is crazy. I wonder if mom and dad or Rosemary can explain it to us”

        “I did not think about that. I know David and Edward Bloodmoon had never heard of it before, but you are right. Maybe our parents or Rosemary will know about it. We will have to ask when we get there. Please do not take this the wrong way sis, but I do not want them on this territory until they can prove themselves. I have even talked to David about this, so he gave me the ability to allow them access or not.”

        “So, you have the same thoughts as me then. I do not know if it a bad feeling or just being cautious, but something does not feel right.”

        “My thoughts exactly. I am not sure how I will test them, but they will have to pass a test.”

        “Okay I will go along with it and maybe even through random things in there so that way Rosemary does not see it coming.”

        “Perfect I am glad we are on the same page.”

        Once we got there, we waited for them to show up. Without communicating we both stayed on the safe side of the meeting line. When they showed up, they were excited to see us.

        “Angel, Sapphire you girls are so beautiful, and you grew up so much. I wish we could have been there with you both.” The female who should be our mom said.

        “Why don’t you come over here and give us a hug.” The male said.

        “First thing first introductions. You know our first names, but we do not know yours.” I said.

        “And just for fun what are our full names?” Sapphire asked.

        “You are right we know you, but you have not seen us since you were ten months old, and then we separated you two out for safety reasons. I am Velvet Ruby Purplemoon your mother and this is Benjamin Black Purplemoon your father. As for your question Sapphire your name is Sapphire May Purplemoon and she is Angel Renesmay Purplemoon.”

        “Okay so now that we know, Rosemary you never introduced us to your daughter the other day and she is not here with you even though you said she would be. Why is that?”

        “Oh, well she did not want to come. She wanted to stay home and practice her magic with her friends. You know how teenagers are.”

        “Show us your wolves.” Sapphire said.

        “What?” questioned Benjamin.

        “Show us your wolves. If you are our parents and werewolves, you can shift and show your wolves. There are trees over there you can change behind.” I said while pointing to the trees.

        They did it but when they came back something was off. We have been told by both the Blackstar clan and the Bloodmoon clan that only one other person has ever had a purple colored wolf but here they both were with purple wolves.

        ‘Sis, they should have normal color wolves from what I have been told.’

        ‘From the research I did last night they did have normal color wolves. I found pictures of them with Ryan’s help. They have a different smell to them now.’

        ‘I agree. Wait if they are our parents, they would have a mind link with us. We should have them use it.’

        ‘Perfect idea.’

        “Okay so since you cannot talk this way use your mind link to tell us why your wolves are both purple.” Sapphire said.

        Rosemary jumped in saying, “When I found them, I could not fix their mind linking abilities. They will never be able to communicate like that.”

        ‘Lets mind link the boys. She does not feel like Rosemary either. Something is wrong. Either they captured them, or they knew about the plan and tried to meet with us first.’

        ‘Okay. They should be able to tell who they are just from showing up. I will mind link them while freezing time, so they do not realize it. If they are a real Alpha and Luna, my time freeze will not touch them from what the real Rosemary told us.’

        ‘You are right about that. Let’s do it.’ Sapphire said.

        I stopped my mind linking with her and started one to the boys.

        ‘Aiden, Ryan, David? Something is not right.’

        ‘What do you mean love?’ Aiden asked.

        ‘Well I am freezing time right now which should mean that my parents would not freeze but they are and both of us realized this Rosemary gives off a different vibe than the other one we met in the mall.’

        ‘We are headed your way, Angel. Just be careful.’ David said.

        ‘We are we never even crossed the safety line.’

        ‘Good we will be there soon. Keep it casual until then.’

        ‘Can do thanks guys.’

        With that I unfroze time and looked at them.

        “Please explain that to us. How did the vampires hurt their minds so bad it permanently damaged all mind links but not the memories or anything else?” I asked fully puzzled.

        “Well you see in order to heal them I had to take things away and the mind linking was one thing I thought they would not need.”

        I went to answer but I heard growls coming up from behind me. As I turned around, I realized all the boys were there in wolf forms as well as others. From what David told me on the way home they only go into their wolf’s form for training, patrolling the area, and if there is danger. So, seeing this I knew they sensed danger. I quickly mind linked with Sapphire.

        ‘They sense trouble. We should back up and let them handle this. We cannot afford to show our wolves, nor have we trained with them yet.’

        After that we simply said bye and walked away. We let the boys handle the impostors. As we were headed back to camp something came over us and we both turned at the exact time and headed into the forest but staying inside the clan territory.

        ‘It must be Rosemary. This is what happened in the mall at her shop too.’ I said.

        ‘I think you are right.’

        ‘Sapphire, Angel, I am your mother.’

        We both froze and looked at each other. We could tell the other heard it and the other felt the same way. We knew right away that she was our real mother.

        As soon as we went to take another step, we got wolfs next to us and behind us.

        “Hey guys, and girls.” I said. I could tell there was at least two females. “Rosemary called us over here like she did in the mall. It is the same feeling now as it was then. Our mom also mind linked with us when we got closer.”

        When I finished, I saw them come out from hiding behind the tree.

        “We felt and saw those witches headed there so we came this way. We were hoping that we could get your attention. I am glad it worked. Can we come in?”

        I did not even have time to answer when the wolf that I could tell was David walked up to them smelled them and shook his head. With that they all walked onto the clan territory. We all walked back in silence. Most of the other wolves left as we got closer to David’s house. By the time we got there the only wolves left were David, Scarlet, Aiden, and Ryan.

        I opened the door and they went in to change forms and get dressed. While they were gone, I took Sapphire, Rosemary and her daughter, and our parents to the living room.

        “Hello, I am Angel. This is David and Scarlet Blackstar’s house. I am now currently living here with my mate Aiden Blackstar. I remember Rosemary from the mall and her daughter, though we were not introduced. I can tell that you are our parents, but I do not know your names.”

        While I was talking the others had walked into the room and found seats.

        “First thing, those witches were right with names. I am Velvet and your father is Benjamin. Second thing is I could tell those witches just wanted to use you to go after the vampires, so they do not work with the vampires. Rosemary’s daughter is named Anna.”

        “It is nice to meet everyone, formally. Now this is Aiden, that is David and Scarlet, and over there we have Sapphire and Ryan.”

        “It is nice to meet everyone of you as well. Angel I could tell who you were the second you got close. You have an enormously powerful alpha aurora. We were right to name you as the Luna of the clan.”

        “Does that mean that I am still Luna even though you are alive?”

        “Yes, it does sweetheart. You are the best we have. We can tell even though you have not been trained yet that you are the best leader for this clan.” Ben said.

        “Thank you. I was getting use to the idea of being the Luna and then Rosemary said you were still alive I thought I would not be Luna anymore.”

        With that I looked at David and he just nodded as if he knew what I was getting at.

        “Well it was nice to meet you all and I know Angel and Sapphire have questions for you, but I have a speech to write and Scarlet has dinner to cook for everyone. Please excuse us.” David said.

        “It was nice to meet you too and you are excused. We will see you when dinner is ready.” Velvet said.

        “Okay, and after dinner we will show you to the house, we have for you to stay in. We even have a guest house for you Rosemary and Anna.” David said.

        “Thank you very much for the house and thank you for letting us into your territory.” Rosemary said.

        “You are welcome. Thank you for saving my saving my son’s mate.” David said.

        With that she simply smiled then David and Scarlet left them room.

        “So, Angel what is your first question?”

        “First question is about my wolf. She changed after Aiden marked me and I do not understand why and no one else has ever heard about it. So, why did him marking me change her too?"

        “You are the true Luna of the clan. His marking you changed her to show everyone that you are the Luna to both clans now. He is your mate which makes him the true Alpha. Now with the changes on both you and her people can see both clans. I do not know if you noticed it or not, but Aiden’s wolf had a purple moon on his forehead. His wolf now has your family crest and the mark of your clan too.”

        “Oh okay, and it did? I did not see it. That does answer one of my other questions. We got told that only the true Luna and the true Alpha can touch the silver blade without getting hurt, but why is that?”

        “That has to do with the Moon Goddess herself. She could handle silver and she passed that out to her family, but only true alphas and Lunas will have it. Your mother could never do it. My true Luna rejected me, but I fell in love with your mother and she became the Luna. He is your mate which means he is your true alpha.”

        “So, it all has to do with the Moon Goddess?”

        “Yes, it does. What else are you curious about?”

        “Well I wanted to know why Sapphire and I could not know about each other until we figured it out by ourselves.”

        “You guys being together and knowing each other would have had caused your wolfs to come out more often and your magic to flare up. It would have stopped Rosemary’s protection spell.”

        “Okay. So, why are the vampires afraid of the Purplemoon clan?”

        “That is simply because of the Moon Goddess. Even though she is a creator of all she is our family and gave us her special and unique powers. They know that her powers can kill them all off and stop their plan. It is also only one group of the vampires that want us dead not all vampires.”

         “I see. Well I can keep us hidden. I cannot think of anymore questions. What about you guys?”

        “Not at the moment.” Sapphire said.

        The boys just shook their heads.

       “Dinner time.” Scarlet yells from the kitchen.

        Everyone got up to go to the dining room, except for two people. I was left in the living room with my dad.

        “Hey dad I do have one more question, but I do not want all of them knowing about it just yet.”

        “Okay. What might that be?”

        “Well when I first came here before we read the letter saying I was the Luna of the Purplemoon clan, we talked about me being the alphas mate and joining his clan. I want to be the Luna to both clans, but I do not think we could manage two separate clans. What do you think about merging the clans?”

        “You could always do that, but you could also keep both clans here and just separate the living quarters and keep two separate clans. Unless things have changed no one fully owns the land around this clan so you could buy it to make sure there is enough room for everyone.”

        “Angel he is right. I did not mean to listen in I was just coming to see what was taking you so long. We will go over both options next weekend if you would like to that way you can focus on the introduction to the clan and school. You always have more than one choice with belonging to two clans. It is nothing to rush into.” David said.

        “Okay let’s go eat before she sends out a search party.” I said and we all laughed.
