‘Yeah, that was before,’ he said, wiping his mouth roughly and sitting up. ‘What time is it?’ Aria glanced at the clock on the mantelpiece, ‘Just after four. Why? Are you hungry? Can I get you something to eat?’ ‘Yeah that would be good,’ he grinned. ‘Get me some food will ya?’ Aria winced at his words, not wanting to believe how this man had changed so much after being held in captivity for so long. She knew he would be different, but never thought in a million years that he could ever become aggressive and yet here he was, the epitome of John’s true opposite. ‘What would you like, John? I could make something or I could get a take out, perhaps?’ ‘Steak, rare,’ he muttered, as he picked up the bottle of wine and filled his glass for the third time. ‘But… but…you’re a vegetarian?’ ‘
