Gage blinked, the fog clearing from his head. As soon as it did, he didn’t see Austin in front of him. He saw Christopher, and shame burned like bile down the back of his throat. “I…oh fuck.”
His hands froze. Austin slanted a wide-eyed stare up at him. “What’s wrong?”
“Austin I am…I am so sorry. I shouldn’t have let this happen.” He pushed the other man away as gently as he could and jumped to his feet, struggling to zip his pants. “I mean, I like you, and a part of me kind of wishes that it had happened before, but it shouldn’t have happened now.”
