Adrian swore quietly and rushed over to where she had been standing, thinking she was crazy.
He quickly jumped in after her without hesitating and searched for her in the ice-cold water, wondering why she had taken such a drastic step.
Aria gasped for air under the cold dark river that made all her bones hurt. She thought she had saved herself, but that was far from the truth.
