Killsteal! REPORT NOOB!

Failing utterly to slow their descent at a more reasonable pace, Nua slams directly into a tree while Octanus rolls quite a bit further, actually reaching the base of the ditch. Letting out a groan, Nua takes a moment to orient himself. He knew he was either upside down or completely delirious, but either explanation worked for the moment. He flips himself over, straightening his view enough to tell where the Eva'Der was. It didn't seem to have trouble tracking them. Just our luck; it can track magic too. A lot wasn't known about the Hokori, despite all the 'research' that various terrorist organizations had done a while back in their attempts to defeat the White King, but there was evidence that the Dai'Chik, a plant based Hokori, could sense magic. So who's to say that others couldn't as well? Unfortunately, he couldn't exactly mute his signal while casting, meaning he wasn't going to teleport out of this. Even worse, though, was that he couldn't outrun it either. It's walking speed was on par with his jog and he had to worry about obstacles, after all. So... A little update on the 'screwed meter': it was cracking. Nua spares a moment to pinpoint his motorcycle, easily finding the glint within the trees. Unfortunately, it was between him and the Eva'Der. Man... I hadn't payed off the lease yet, he complains while backing up somewhat. While the bike was ruined, the thing was cut in half across the front, meaning his equipment should still be safe. All he had to do was get it away from there. "Piece of cake," he says, turning to start a sprint. Only to see Octanus just lying on the ground, unmoving. And the universe sends my another giant neon middle finger. With a sigh, Nua slides to a stop next to the sloth pan. Living up to the name, she slowly starts standing up. "Don't you realize the kind of danger we're in?" he demands, directly imploring her to get moving. At the rate she was moving, it would be on them in literal seconds. She nods, smiling. Octanus smiles at him broadly. "Of course I do," she says, finally standing up. "What do you think of me?" The Hokori arrives, it's arm swinging down at the two of them at speeds neither was properly equipped to react to. Fortunately, Octanus was prepared beforehand. Nua teleported away, but he wasn't in contact with Octanus at the time, preventing him from bringing her with him. That was good since she wanted to be struck. The bladed arm slams down directly on her head, the air pressure alone pounding the ground a few inches deeper. But it doesn't sink through. "I'll take that," she says, reaching upward through the red glow that surrounded her to the bladed arm itself. And then she said a few words. "Quero ser em outro lugar." "ROAR!" Nua stares blankly at the spot Octanus was a moment prior. He recognized the chanting, of course, but... You weren't supposed to be able to bring the Hokori with you when you did it. When you teleport, it requires a specific flow and then collapse of magic. Ordinary objects, like his clothing or bike, were basically just conductors of this effect. Other people, so long as they didn't resist it intentionally and weren't already casting something, functioned much the same. But the Hokori dispersed magic across their body by nature, preventing everything but elemental magic or physical magic from affecting them. Unlike Space-Time techniques, teleportation didn't bend reality; it bent you. How...? he silently asks, his eyes glancing around in each direction in search of her. He eventually does: she was above it. With the power of gravity on her side, she forces the creature's own arm directly through its chest, both impaling it and driving its soon-to-be corpse into the dirt. The fiery red glow disperses from her, revealing how battered she actually was. In particular, blood leaked from the top of her skull where the blade had slammed against it. Confusingly, it wasn't gushing out as you'd expect, but that was worrying in its own right. Octanus collapses backwards, falling towards the ground without resistance. Except when there was suddenly someone to catch her. "Congratulations, I guess," Nua says, already aware that she was unconscious. "You'll wake up in a better place." He grimaces, only then realizing how dark that sentence was. His actual intention was much nicer, implying that he'd take her to Lleterof, but... Shaking his head, Nua ends the train of thought. It was pointless, especially when they weren't necessarily-. Nua throws himself backwards, sliding just out of range of a bladed swing. What now!? he demands, turning to observe the source of the attack. The damn thing was still alive. You know what, f**k you, universe! I've had enough of your s**t! From the ground, Nua teleports to where his bike was destroyed, finding most of his stuff in working order. Including his guns. He sets Octanus down, using his hands to instead lift up his personal favorite weapon: the Unmaker. Unlike conventional weaponry, a field pioneered by the North, the East relied on magic for almost everything, and that included massive firepower. By devouring all the magic in a small area, including that of the user, you could produce quite the powerful attack. Bracing it against his shoulder, Nua takes aim at the pinned Hokori. If it, like many T3s, lacked internal organs, he'd just have to blast the whole thing to hell. The weapon wasn't particularly wide since it was designed to fire a concentrated beam of destructive energy, but it's weight still made it a bit difficult to aim. Regardless, he's set. And then a beam spews forth, completely obliterating the Eva'Der. Along with the nearby trees. And a large chunk of the hill. The problem was, Nua hadn't fired yet. (KS! Report noob!) "You looked like you could use some help," a voice speaks from amidst the fading white of his attack. "Think it's dead?" Nua blinks a few times at the furred figure, completely bewildered by him. "Yeah."
