Pack mind-link: All pack members are asked to report to the front yard for a pack meeting this minute.
"Ugh," I groaned as I rolled on my back, "do I have to?" I inquired in response to the pack meeting's pronouncement. I was honestly hoping to sleep in later than usual after such a long night.
My body was still fatigued from last night's dash through the woods after running out during dinner. I couldn't believe my father would say something so inappropriate in front of the Elders.
And it didn't surprise me that he was so arrogant about it. Was he present on that particular day? No! Is he aware of what occurred with my mother? No!
Then why would he accuse me of murdering my mother? Only because he discovered me by her side, covered in her blood.
