My mother used to tell me stories about a hidden cave with magical powers when I was a kid. She'd say the cave was endowed with the ability to return your most prized possession.
Of course, I mistook it for a bedtime story. A cave with the potential to return the one thing you cherish the most. What kind of capability does this cave possess to be able to do so?
Anyway, I pushed the stupid idea to the back of my mind, where it remained for the rest of my childhood. That was the situation until I overheard two drunks discussing the cave a few months ago.
They even went so far as to claim that the cave was cursed. That anyone entered the cave would be allowed one wish: to return the one thing they cherish the most, but at a cost.
