Mercury POV
I jumped out of bed startled, trembling and sweating profusely, panting for air. I had to grip my chest and gasp for a breath due to a blockage in my throat.
As the images flashed in my mind, all I could do was cry. I tried closing my eyes and forcing them out of my mind, but nothing worked. They hadn't vanished.
“Aaahh!” For fear of going insane, I screamed.
Mercury, breathe. Inhale deeply. It's important for you to relax.
But, at this point, not even her soothing voice was helping to calm my frenzied mood. I was in shambles, and I could feel my chest constricting as air failed to enter my lungs. I cried more the harder I clutched my chest.
