“Wait, Daria!” As she rushed down the stairs and out the front door, I called after her. Even though she doesn't yet have her wolf, I was shocked at how quickly she got out of the house. “Daria, please, come back!”
My gaze wandered the front yard, only to come to a halt when I couldn't find her shadow anywhere. 'She couldn't have run through there so quickly.'
I let out a deep breath. Whether I chased her or not didn't affect the fact that she despised my guts right now. “Perhaps I'll just give her some space to calm down and try to talk to her when she returns.”
