School, in my opinion, went fairly well. Given its history of bullying and snarky remarks. It went off without a hitch. Especially for someone who was constantly picked on by other pupils and neglected by the teachers throughout the day. It's simpler to be ignored than it is to be called upon.
I've been called a freak or a nerd far too many times, and I've even been laughed at because a teacher chose to call on me. It didn't bother me at first, but it got worse over time. That didn't inspire me to raise my hand without a teacher calling on me, though.
Instead, when I'm not lost in the skies, I'd sit there, focused on the board, soaping everything in like a sponge.
To put it another way, it was better for me when no one knew I was there.
