“Stop!” The small girl shouted at her sister, hiding behind her hands while her sibling doused her with water from the barrel. “Stop or I'll call Mom.” Her small voice spoke forth.
Her older sister giggled, dipped her hands in water, and soaked her. The scene reminded me of when Mercury and I were more...joyous. I recall spending hours outside playing as our parents worked incessantly.
We didn't mind because it provided us enough time to play our hearts out until we were exhausted and just crashed after a bath.
