While Em and Del went to the mall, I decided to go to the gym. Despite it was warm outside, I reasoned that it would help to alleviate the stress of my mate's absence. Not that I don't trust Del; I do. Just because of what Em told me earlier this evening, I would have preferred if she’d stay home. With me. Where it’s safe.
Although I knew I was being impolite when I overheard her chat with Del, I still believed she should have declined Del's request.
“Well, well, well.” When I walked into the gym, Liam's arrogant voice interrupted my train of thought. I was not looking forward to his egotistical demeanor. I couldn't do it when I was already in a foul mood.
