“I should have known better,” I spoke with a stern expression. After stiffening my muscles, I added, “After all, it’s the primal origin manifestation.”
Spreading my legs, I shouted, “Light source within comprehension!” My palms pressed together as my arms raised to my chest level. Fragments of light formed as condensed light sparks merged. Then, before the pillar could travel two-fifths of the distance separating it from me, a figure stopped it. Formed from the combination of light fragments condensed by the sparks produced by my crushed Great Light Soul.
…
Yes, this figure, which yet again stopped the pillar, was still my very same Great Light Soul, reformed from its own light sparks. Though smaller, it was more condensed. The light power that emanated from it in a disorderly way was now channeled.
With both hands, my Great Light Soul pressed the pillar forward, but with overwhelming momentum, the pillar exerted more pressure on my Great Light Soul as it expanded even more. Yet my Great Light Soul didn’t shiver nor stumble, nor was it pushed back. It remained strong and firm as it pushed this pillar of damnation.
Then, without realizing it, I was pierced through.
“Cough, what happened, Cough, my vision, is blurring.” My head spun, and my body trembled. It felt like it broke apart. “I didn’t see this coming,” I exclaimed while trying to peek at the pillar, though I could not see it clearly.
Greatly wounded, after being pierced by the energy beam, I fell to my knees. The blood that came out of my mouth poured out onto both of my hands as they lay on the ground.
“This imprint, it could release such potent power.” The stroke I received, the one which pierced me, came from the imprint engraved on the pillar. Even though my Great Light Soul still stood firmly, I knew it could break at any given moment. So I could not just remain as I was, I needed to do something. As the imminent danger alerted my cells,
Then, Manifested from within me, a spiritual life form with immense spiritual power as I rose to stand on my feet. With a size of a human, this spiritual life form completely manifested. It transformed me completely into a spiritual being, as if I were Naruto in kuiby form, healing me at the same time.
“Ha ha ha, a new me again,” I laughed maniacally with great joy and anticipation, my eyes casting an intense gaze at the pillar. Fragments of my Great Light Soul disintegrated as it fell apart, yet it still stood strong like its father. If it were not out of character, I could have really cried out. And the only thing I could do was to harness the power of my spiritual life form. This spiritual life form materialized out of me, and it grew in size the more I harnessed its power.
*Boom!* A loud noise resounded. That which was powerful enough to shake the whole world again and again. It forced my head. As I looked up, “The 5th Imprint, oh yes, this feeling,” Even in this state, my fear, which had long since turned into great joy, made me even more excited. Exciting like someone anticipating a long-awaited intimate moment with his true lover.
Already two-fifths the size of my world, this new pillar with the imprint ‘5’ on it disintegrated my Great Light Soul like rain piercing through air. But before it could take the next step, it was pushed, like a balloon would be pushed by an air force 1000 miles away, as I shouted, “Life Spirit of Light Form Incarnation, >.” This was the power of my divine spirit being manifestation. The power it was capable of exerting. Being a spirit life form with overwhelming spiritual power, it was indeed normal for it to be at the divine level.
“Ouf, for the 5th Imprint to have forced me to this extent, To think I would have to use divine-level power,” I spoke confidently, praising my powers. After all, I still stood as if nothing had happened. Sure of my victorious battle, which didn’t only bring me joy but also taught me what fear was, even though it had no effect on me, I looked through a figure much bigger in size than my Great Light Soul. Its first manifestation. At this pillar, as its whole structure broke apart. My reaction stupefied me at my own power.
“What is it, Am I seeing right?” At the front of the shattered pillar, the imprint with the number ‘5’ was nowhere to be seen. “When did this happen,” With a little disappointment, I exclaimed. One thing was certain, my realm of power had increased.
…
Even though I didn’t know how far the power of this pillar could reach, I knew more than anyone else that with just my power alone, I could never have pushed this pillar to this extent. To the extent that it would release its 7 manifestations. Yes, there was still an imprint on this pillar, and rather than the 5th Imprint, it was the 7th. But nothing happened during those laps of time, I almost crushed the pillar. But then, as I was shrouded in my thoughts, I realized something was off. It was now more than 30 minutes since the pillar shattered into parts, yet the ground was only covered by ordinary broken landscape. Nothing emanated from it, whether life or energy.
“Where have the fragments of this pillar gone,” I asked as I searched all around, my divine spirit still manifested. But nothing could be found. Then, to be assured of what I thought, that it had evaporated, I raised my head as I was sitting on the ground, relaxing. Through this same figure, I looked at the shattered pillar. It seemed that the space around it had stopped. The pillar was shattered, its parts were falling apart, yet it remained fixed in the air.
“Ho ho, this is really a honey mood.” With a surge in spiritual power, my divine spirit grew in size. As it expanded, I stood on my feet, my right arm lifted toward the sky. “I will grab it with my Realm of Grab,” I whispered. Then a thought traversed my head, *What if I used the realm manifestation life within the world?* In anticipation, as my divine spirit shrouded the pillar, ultraviolet light pierced through it. From nowhere, darkness once again coated my world, but this darkness only overshadowed my world in a split second before being overwhelmed by my divine spirit.
Then…
From afar, this stagnant yet shattered pillar completely transformed and dived toward me. The pressure coming from it almost shattered my world.
“What the hell is this again,” Yes, it wasn’t the usual pillar I confronted. Even Sun Wukong’s golden rod could not be compared to his son. “Are you my father,” With no more imprint on its front, its whole structure was covered in ancient text, something that wasn’t on it to begin with.
“Hand Grab, Realm of Life Within World,” I shouted impatiently, but nothing happened. Worse. My divine spirit shattered. This wasn’t even the real primal origin manifestation. “Just a copy, and you think you’re worth facing me, the only Great Ngwan Le Tou?” With an arrogance second to none, I shouted. As I stood strong and firm, unaffected by this thing called fear, even after going through it.
“Let me show you who is the god here,” I spoke confidently with an arrogant smirk, as if everything belonged to me. With confidence not from hope nor the belief in some Almighty god, but that which comes from a unique power. A force envied by all. A force unattainable even after years of training. Yet it could be used by me, and that without even making the slightest effort. This power I nearly never used, the name was even unknown to me.
“Zoom it all, Waterfall of Life.” My left leg moved a step as I took my stance, pulling my right arm backward with a clenched fist. Everything seemed tiny in front of my eyes. Tiny enough to be crushed from just a touch. A touch from my finger to completely vaporize it.
“Separation,” echoed the word that came out of my mouth. As my fist struck this pillar of damnation, the surrounding air for a split second became breathless. Before my world, once in its original form, yet transformed under the influence of our power, was now back to its original form. Amidst all that, I stood at the very same position, as if nothing had happened. The pillar of damnation nowhere to be seen, and I myself on my end of the rope. Though a copy, I still defeated it, proving my superiority.
After a while.
Mei Li and his accomplice approached me.
“Ngwan Le,” Shocked, he paused after he called out my name.
“What is it, Mei Li, You’re next on the line, you know,” I reminded him as I spoke. My people, pardon his accomplice, were wordless. They knew what would happen to them, more so what could happen to anyone who would utter a word.
“Why, Ngwan Le, why won’t you just die,” In a desperate state, Mei Li went crazy, yelling again and again. On the ground, he felt with both of his hands on his head.
