Chapter Twenty-Five Aidan stirred the beef stew, inhaling the aroma, salivating at the thought of spooning some into his mouth to test it. The meat so tender and moist it melted on the tongue, he was a master at making dumplings to place on top. Back when Marble's Marvels had customers, his beef stew was a firm favourite with his regulars. Scooping a dollop on the wooden spoon, he blew it first. Chef stared up at him.
