“Now you’re cooking.” Aidan opened the cooker door for Philippa to slide the first of three trays inside. “And that’s how you make toad in the hole. Easy peasy. The trick is not to overcook it, so we put on the timer, and make sure you’re near the oven when it goes off.”
Including himself, he had five kitchen staff. Elio suggested training a couple of his chefs in his kitchen, so that when they moved across the road, they already had trained staff who could show the untrained employees how everything was done.
