Chapter Twenty-Seven
Kate had not seen a Saturday night like this in over a year. The compliments she received from her customers couldn't have been more glowing. Everyone had fallen in love with Chef's cooking, telling her they were going to tell all their friends and families about their fantastic experiences.
"I swear this is like the Marble's of old, Kate," Bonnie said, opening another bottle of red for the Tenant party. "I've actually had to work tonight." She chuckled. "And not one complaint either."
Crossing her fingers, Kate put the tray on the back bar for Bonnie. "I can't tell you how positive I am about Chef. He just popped in here looking for a job on the off-chance, and bam, here we are serving up the best food we ever have."
