Chapter Nineteen
Kate let herself inside the restaurant. Tired after the excitement of testing Chef's divine cuisine, she lay awake most of the night imagining Marble's Marvels brimming with diners again, like it used to before the crash.
The one problem they had was the rift between Aidan and Chris Ashcroft. If she could find a way to bring the two together, Chris' half of the village would end their boycott of her restaurant. She locked the door behind her.
