Chapter 5

Our mouth dropped open in shock as we stared at the lady who cat walked towards us.

She was putting on a crazy jeans and a crop top ,which had her tummy exposed.

She packed her hair into two-----different from the way she normally did, unlike her who hated makeup she was putting on a heavy makeup this time around, she looked totally different

Is this Bella ?Rebecca stuttered her name as she got to where we were

Oh girls, I really need to go shopping. you wouldn't believe how many hours it took me to find this dress ,she grouse

Not minding the astonished looks on our faces.

"Bella", you ...Rebecca tried talking but couldn't

Hold on , why are you girls staring at me like that ?she scoffed placing her hands on her waist

We still kept mute

Anyway it's getting late, Today is a special day for me .she smiled and went down the stairs

Leaving us confused as we watched her like a movie

What the hell !

Now i asked again Rebecca said still looking down the stairs

Has anyone noticed a little difference in Bella?

Peace's pov

Rebecca and I returned home frazzled and plonked ourselves on the chair immediately .

Gosh! I'm so tired I could sleep for a thousand years .I can't wait to eat and go to bed Rebecca yawned and i laughed

Where is Bella? I asked

taking off my shoes

It's pretty late already

I think she should be in her room or something ,Rebecca replied

Immediately the door opened and Bella came in holding bags upon bags .

"Phew" she exclaimed as she struggle to walk in with the multiple bags

Immediately she did she plonked herself on the couch

"Oops "that was stressful. She breathed out feeling relieved .

"Hi sisters "she smiled

Are you just coming home? Rebecca asked

Oh yeah actually had to go do some shopping she replied and started bringing out the content from the bag

Hi guys , how was it ?gift asked

But, no one replied

Rebecca stood up and went to touch the clothes

You mean you bought this ?I asked

Yeah of course, why?

The clothes are way to short and rugged since when did you start wearing those dresses ?Bella ,gift asked

What is wrong with them? I like it

they are my new style from now on

They are way too short and explosive. you need to return them , I said

Sorry guys ,but I think I need a little change.

As she packed the clothes back into the bags

So I'm hungry

please tell me food is ready ?she asked gift

Do I look like your maid ?gift replied

You were at home all day .don't tell me you didn't prepare dinner ?she asked rolling her eyes

I wasn't at home. I went to see victor

I just got back ,if you are that hungry order something

You went to see Victor again? he doesn't like you, isn't that obvious

I think you're just fooling yourself around him ,bella said

Bella ?i called

What do you mean by that ?don't you have respect ?

But I'm saying the truth

I gave her that deadly look and she apologised

I'm sorry gift ,she said rolling her eyes and left the sitting room

I ordered pizza and we decided to spend some time in the sitting room to watch some movies

After a while ,we heard the doorbell rang and Rebecca went to check it out

uhm...bella she called someone is here to see you

Who's that? she asked

It's leo

Bella remained on her seat putting on a foggy look

Did you even try calling him the other day? I asked

No, I didn't, she replied .

why didn't you?

Nothing,i guess it slipped my mind

Bella's pov

I went outside and found him standing at the balcony

Bella are you okay ?he asked and embraced me

I'm so sorry , it took me this long to come see you. I was busy at the office

What happened to you ?Are you alright? were you hurt ?he said without a pause amusing me

i'm fine, thanks and i smiled

Thank goodness, I thought something happened to you

I'm really sorry bella , sorry you almost got hurt

Come on ,leo. It's fine. you don't have to apologise for anything okay

He exhaled deeply and hugged me again

I need to go now. I'm in a hurry

I just wanted to see your face, I'll talk to you later he said and i flushed in a smile and nodded

"Goodnight ",I replied.

"Goodnight" , he hugged again before he left.

I stood and watch him as he entered into his car and scorched off

What a nice fellow I giggled and walked into the house .

Peace's pov

Bella returned to the room not long

After she took her seat

So how was it? rebecca asked

Immediately she came in

" It was fine" .

he is a nice guy bella said crossing her legs

I wonder why you keep pretending not to like him, i said

Of course, I like him

We all looked at her in shock

She's admitting it, it took you this long to say so rebecca replied

I'm sorry for earlier ,Bella said to gift

she went to hug gift so tight

I don't know what got into your head but I forgive you she smiled .

I guess she was feeling bad for what she said to gift.

Okay it's time for diaries", I cut in and stretched out my hands expecting the first person to give hers to me.

Fine Rebecca mumbled and gave hers to me

I smiled and opened it, i adjusted my seat

"Hmmm" interesting

So, Samuel proposed to you in your dream.

So now you're making up stories in your dreams ?huh !gift asked

I swear I'm not ,Samuel is really going to propose to me, Rebecca replied

it's just a dream Rebecca ,Bella said.

Yeah ,but I'm sure it's going to happen pretty soon she defended rolling her eyes

The rest of the contest was kind of boring ,so I gave it back to her .

I went through gift diary

Let us have your dairy i said and stretched out my palm

we are all waiting

My room she replied

Your room? but you know we read our diaries every Saturday

I don't see the point of reading mine

There's nothing special about it. After the incident I wasn't able to write she said

she didn't go to school, she said she wasn't ready to

After a week ,Bella has been so strange and weird

she does things she never liked before

Later, that Sunday evening

we were really worried about bella

so we went to talk to dad about it .we knocked at his door

The door is open ,he said

The officer's pov

(THE STATION )

So ,what do you have for us ?dad asked

We have been carrying out some investigation as you know and we caught someone who kidnapped your daughter Bella

Okay ,where is he? dad asked

He's at the cell but he won't say a word

won't you guys do something about that? peace asked

We will, we decided to inform you first, maybe he's someone she knows .

She's not here and she knows nothing about this , peace replied

Can I see him? maybe I might recognise him .Bella doesn't have much friends

He took us to the cell where the boy was .

I looked at him but I've never seen him before

No, i don't know him i said

Then we will need Bella maybe she knows him

But he claims not to know her

Okay , we'll let you know when she's ready ,dad replied

Peace's pov

I got home really mad.

So, there is something Bella is not telling us

Bella!

I yelled her name three times

She's not back from school, what's wrong ?gift asked

I explained everything to the girls ,we all waited for her in the sitting room .

She got back a few hours later and was shocked when she saw us all in the sitting room.

"Good evening everyone "but no one replied

She was heading straight to her room

When dad called her back

Bella,what are you hiding from us ? dad asked

What do you mean by that dad ?she asked.

Don't act innocent, what really happened at the party? bella ,we need to know, we're your family, Rebecca said

Fine! I'll tell you guys

We all sat down to listen to her

After I woke up, i. Discovered i was tied up, i screamed and i saw some guys coming out

Oh she's awake, they called someone i couldn't hear what the person was saying but i heard enjoy boys

Before i knew it , they were coming close to me and they ....they tears busted out from her eyes as we understood what she was trying to say

They r***d you Rebecca completed it

she cried and cried ...

Why didn't you tell us?gift asked

I couldn't, I was ashamed

I was so embarrassed. it happened so quick, I told the doctor not to tell you guys

I thought having a different room will be okay for me to keep my secret .I changed my ways i acted like I was happy just to keep the secret ,it wasn't easy crying all night ,regretting going to the restroom

It's not your fault Bella, we forced you to come to the party

If not none of this would have happened

We all cried together.

Dad couldn't say a word but I could see the anger in his eyes

The next morning ,

We all went to the station they brought the boy to us

So Bella do you know him ?i asked

They covered their faces that night. it was pretty dark I couldn't see a thing

He still doesn't want to say anything, the officer said

Torture him untill he confess who sent him.

After a week ,we received a call from the station

it's a great news

We all went there.

So tell them what you told me, the officer said

It was Leo,

Leo was the one who sent us , he replied after he was tortured bitterly

We were all shocked as we stared at him silently

Bella was silent for a while with tears running down her eyes

Immediately , dad sent the police straight to leo office

He was caught and brought to the station..

Why ...why did you do this ?dad asked leo after giving him a heavy slap

He laughed,he understood the question

I did this to get revenge, Mr Matthew

What do you mean by that? What has my dad ever done to you? I asked

You don't know me do ?Mr Matthew he asked dad

No, I don't know you, dad replied

But you remember grace right ? Dad stood in shock ......

She's my mother ,who you left

She suffered bitterly. she wasn't pregnant when I left, dad said

Yes she was, she was 1 month pregnant when you left and got married to your wife ,your dead wife( hahaha) I and my mom planned your wife's death perfectly well . she deserved her death ,For what you did to my mum

We kept asking questions

So ,the way of getting your revenge back was by kidnapping me ? bella asked

I regretted not being there to taste you, if that you didn't run you would have been dead by now

Bella went and slapped him with tears in her eyes, you are heartless !

All you wanted was a revenge .you didn't even think for a second if what your mum did was wrong ,he had no choice but to marry my mum because he was forced and later fell in love with her

While on the other hand your mum was really pathetic and stupid for getting pregnant and giving birth to a low life like you .Now you are rich without her being by your side

What did you gain? nothing! Gift replied

I got the revenge hahaha , he replied

You are going to rot in jail ,he was sentenced to jail for 20 years

Bella's pov

I didn't feel bad for him

He deserved it .He's going to rot in that jail if giving all my money out just for him to stay locked up I will .

A month later

We moved on and never spoke of it again

I went back to her normal self but surprisingly i love eggs now haha

I graduated from the University and joined my sister to run the company. while dad decided to retire.

Peace got married to daniel while Rebecca was engaged

finally!

Victor decided to ask gift out and i decided to give love a chance again

We decided to stay clear from parties for a while

Things turned out pretty well.
