Amber's POV Eventually, my stomach growls, forcing me to give up on sleep completely. The kitchen is full of food, but my exhausted body gags at the thought of having to cook. I guess I'll be going to the dining hall for breakfast. I leave my body covered in wrinkled clothing and my hair tangled up into a ponytail. I drive slowly to the packhouse. The sun is just beginning to spill into the sky. That eases my nerves. It's too early for the dining hall to be packed. I can get in and out without anyone seeing me. My hopes for a uneventful morning die once I step open the door. Stepping into the packhouse, I know luck abandoned me today. The place is busy, at least half the pack is here. They throw glances my way but leave me alone as I walk into the dining hall. There's that scent again
