Aelis led Sylvie up the stairs, her arm still hooked with his. Upstairs was the VIP area that overlooked the club below from a balcony. The main room had multiple couches sectioned off into groups with views of the club floor. Curtains hung between each group for additional privacy, and there were rooms on the wall. Sylvie passed by one that was left open. The room was a decent size with a bed in the center.
"For extra privacy," Aelis said as he continued to guide her towards the end of the area. It was curtained off and when Aelis stopped in front of it he didn't bother announcing his presence. He pulled open the curtain, and they were welcomed to the site of Braxton lounging on the cough near the railing, a woman on her knees between his legs. He looked over at them and broke out into a grin, giving a finger wave in their direction. Aelis walked in and plopped on the couch across from him, startling the girl, causing her to let out gasp and detach herself from Braxton to look at Aelis. Sylvie was taken by surprise and left frozen as Braxton tsk-ed his tongue, grabbing the woman's head and leading her back between his legs. She resisted, and he let her head go. She looked over at Sylvie, who didn't know where to look at this point.
"Who's the b***h?" The girl said, turning to Braxton and crossing her arms,
"Are you replacing me already?" She whined at him, wrapping her arms around his waist and looking up at him. Braxton rolled his eyes,
"If you don't finish, I just might," he said, pulling out a box of cigarettes from his shirt pocket, followed by a lighter. He lit a cigarette before tossing both at Aelis, who caught it and lit one for himself. The girl coughed, swatting the smoky air as Braxton exhaled in her face. She huffed, standing and stomping her foot.
"Forget it Braxton, come get me when you actually want to be alone," she said, storming past Sylvie with a harsh shove by her shoulder as she passed. Braxton laughed as he adjusted himself back into his open pants. He looked over at Sylvie who was looking at the ceiling, debating on making a run for it. Every part of her told her not to get into Aelis's car. Why didn't she listen?
"Why's the little rogue here?" Braxton asked, eyeing her. Aelis blew out smoke slowly lazing looking over at Sylvie.
" Was it this or leave her walking back to her house?" Aelis said with a shrug. Braxton nodded.
"Right, I drove you to the packhouse," he said, scoffing.
"That meeting was a waste, he's acting like I'm not just going to do whatever the f**k I want anyway," Braxton said, crushing his cigarette into the tray on the table in the center of the couches. He waved over at Sylvie
"Come on, come sit. It's weird with you just standing there," Sylvie looked towards the way they came, should she make up for her first mistake of coming here, but quickly left and acted like nothing had happened. Or should she see it through, since this was her first time ever in a club she didn't even know existed. She gritted her teeth and took a seat on the smaller couch between the large curved one where Braxton and Aelis sat respectively. Braxton got up and leaned over the table to grab Sylvie's arm, pulling her from that couch and guiding her to sit on the one he was sitting on.
"You act like I'm about to attack you," Braxton said, annoyed. Sylvie looked at him.
"Because that's exactly what you used to do every time you saw me," Sylvie said. Braxton looked at her and she met his eyes. They looked different than what she was used to seeing glaring at her all through school. The usual pale blue was being overtaken by tones of yellow, like his wolf was right on the surface.
"I'm not who I was before Sylvie," Braxton said softly, her eyes widened slightly, and she found herself physically backing away from him and standing.
"Bathroom." She all but shouted, shocking the two males in the room at her sudden outburst.
"Uh downstairs," Aelis said, Sylvie nodded and bolted from the room, not stopping until she rammed into the solid mass of the guard at the stairway entrance. He turned to face her, and she shrunk at his presence. She was sitting on the stairs after she had run into him and fell back.
"Can I help you?" he asked, looking her up and down. Sylvie stood and smoothed out her outfit.
"Bathroom, please" she mumbled, not meeting his eye, he pointed towards the back towards the bar. There was a little illuminated sign with a symbol depicting a blue man and pink woman.
"Can't miss it," he said. Sylvie nodded as he moved out of the way for her to pass by. The music was heavy as it pulsated through the entire building. She felt it almost vibrating her person as she tried to maneuver through the dance floor to the other side towards the bar and the bathroom. All types of wolves were gathered here dancing close to each other, swaying to the music, some even mouthing along to the words.
A male grabs Sylvie by the waist, pulling her flush against his chest, grinding his erection into her ass.
"Dance with me hottie," he whispers in her ear, and she's overwhelmed by the smell of alcohol on his breath. She struggles free, and he doesn't fight, moving onto another she-wolf closer to him. She continued to push her way through until she finally broke from the crowd, getting a chance to breathe for a second. The bartender was watching her, and she approached to walk around towards the bathroom still.
"Want a drink?" he called. Sylvie barely made out his words but waved at him with a smile. She needed to get to the bathroom. Nearly there, she was grabbed again, this time by the girl who was in Braxton's lap.
"Who are you to Braxton?" She hissed, digging her nails into Sylvie's arm. Sylvie tried to pry her arm free.
"No one, literally his favorite person to hate," Sylvie said. The girl wasn't choosing to believe her.
"Yea right! Braxton doesn't just let anyone into his section. Tell me who you are! I'm going to be his Luna!" She screeched. Sylvie continued to fight against her hold, but it was like a trapped bird beating his wings against an iron cage. She was basically human, and even if the girl holding her captive wasn't of true Luna or Alpha descent, she still had more physical power.
"I'm serious, Aelis brought me here. Braxton didn't even know I was coming," Sylvie tried to explain, looking towards the bathroom with desperation.
"How do I know Aelis didn't bring you for Braxton hmm? I know he keeps other females, but I'm his favorite," she said, and Sylvie couldn't help but cry out when she half shifted her fingers into claws and dug them further into her arm, causing her to bleed.
"f**k this," Sylvie said before rearing his fist back and swinging hard, connecting with the unsuspecting girl's face. Her head snapped back, and she released Sylvie with a scream as she grabbed her nose. Sylvie gripped her bleeding arm, as people noticing the commotion began to move in to see what was going on.
"You f*****g b***h!" She screamed, looking at her hadn't and seeing the blood from her nose.
"You attack me?!" She screeched, going to swing at Sylvie with her claws. Sylvie ducked out of the way, quickly spinning and going for the bathroom. She shoved people out of her way, as the girl tried to follow her.
"Get back here!" she called as Sylvie slipped away into the bathroom. She walked into the stall locking it and sliding against the wall and letting out a shaky breath.
