Sylive was led out of the packhouse until she was standing back beside Braxton's car. Braxton let out an exasperated huff, rubbing his face and sighing. "Aelis, put my number on her phone and yours," Braxton said, groaning out, placing his hands on his hips and leaning forward. Aelis complied, offering his hand, Sylvie pulled out the phone and placed it in it. "Can you believe that s**t?" Braxton said, standing up straight and waving his arm towards the packhouse. "Old ass has the nerve to question us? Please," Braxton spit out, Sylvie watched him pace around. He was making multiple agitated noises as he mumbled to himself. When Aelis handed the phone back to Sylvie, Braxton suddenly stopped and stood straight crossing his arms. "Do you even know how to use a phone?" Braxton asked. Sylvie bit her lip, unconsciously wincing at the pain. "Um," she started, looking down at the simple flip phone. She flipped it open, and the screen lit up. "Well?" Braxton scoffed impatiently. Sylvie resigned to her fate, shaking her head. Phones were a luxury she wasn't allowed. "f**k you're so poor it actually pisses me off," Braxton said, pinching the bridge of his nose as he shook his head. "Aelis give her a run-down, I'm getting out of here. I can't do this s**t any more today. I'll meet you at the club. Bring the blondes," Braxton said, walking over to his car. He gets in and drives off, leaving Sylvie and Aelis in the driveway. "Here it's really easy," Aelis said, coming closer to her and giving her a quick run down of how to answer calls, make calls, how to text and even take pictures. "Do you have Hugo's number?" Sylvie asked when he was done. Aelis gave her a smile, "I already put it in there. Figured you'd want it," Aelis patted her back and started walking away toward the side of the house. "Wait. Aelis," Sylvie said. Aelis turned around to face her with a 'hmm'. Sylvie sighed, looking towards the main gate. "You know what, never mind. Bye, Sylvie said, Aelis watched as she started walking towards the gate, and he couldn't stop the laugh that escaped him. He realized Braxton had left her here with no transportation. Aelis had his car in the pack garage, so he was fine. Sylvie drove with them though, "Do you need a ride?" Aelis called. Sylvie, already halfway towards the gate, refused to turn around and acknowledge him. The experience she just endured needed to end, and it only would if she was no longer near him and this house. "f**k off!" she ended up shouting, flipping him off. Aelis just continued to laugh. He pulled out his phone and took a picture of her, sending it to Braxton with a laughing emoji. He pocketed his phone and continued to the garage. Sylvie made it past the gates and was walking along the cobblestone path when Aelis honked at her pulling over. He rolls the window down, "Come on, let me take you home. We dragged you out here, didn't we?" Aelis said. Sylvie stopped to look at him. She debated, but something in her told her not to get in the car. "I'm good Aelis. I need a walk," she lamented, walking away. Aelis drove next to her slowly, still trying to call from the window for her to get in. "Don't you have to meet Braxton?" Sylvie shouted at him, stopping and spinning to face the car window. "Yea, but you can come if you want," Aelis said. Sylvie rolled her eyes, crossing her arms, "Oh what a joy it would be to go to a club and hang out with you and Braxton," Sylvie said sarcastically. "It would be because you've never been to one," Aelis shot back. Sylvie blushed in embarrassment. She was getting real tired of feeling like this. "Braxton made you a pack member, enjoy the benefits of the inner city," Aelis said. He was leaning over the middle console trying to meet her eyes, "You're dressed for it too, just missing your signature body leather," Aelis attempted to tease, but Sylvie just glared at him in return. She looked towards the road, it'd take her well over 4hrs to walk back to the cabin by herself. The car ride to the cabin was 30 minutes, and the inner city was only 10. Despite today, despite the events of yesterday, despite even her current feelings about the matter at hand. Sylvie got into the car with Aelis. Aelis smiled at her, and gave her a playful laugh, "Try not to look so miserable in my car, it'll ruin my reputation," Aelis said, pulling back onto the road with a U-turn. Sylvie looked at him, "Reputation?" she asked. Aelis nodded. "Yup, I've never had an unhappy woman in my car," he said with a chuckle. Sylvie rolled her eyes. "Give me a break," she mumbled, watching as the cobblestone path turned to asphalt as they reached the city. The multitude of shops and apartments littered the streets. Sylvie knew the city wasn't as large as what a human city would be, she'd read about them in books. The city had everything a large pack needed though; enough space within the territory to house its members and give them jobs and a place among pack rank. Though most business was done within the kingdom, they still dealt with human society. "So," Aelis began, drawing Sylvie's attention back to him as they pulled into a parking lot, "So?" Sylvie asked when he didn't immediately continue. Aelis looked at her as if debating how to say what he wanted to. Then he sighed, shook his head, and turned the car off. "This is your first time at a club. Try not to get into trouble is all," he said, opening the door and stepping out. Sylvie watched as he slammed the car door and then walked around to hers. He opened it for her, and she got out, fixing her outfit before running her hand through her hair nervously. Aelis offered her his arm, and she hesitated to take it. He took her arm and locked it with his when she didn't move and walked them to the entrance. The building was large and made of brick, a neon sign was the only decoration on the building aside from graffiti. It read "Wolf Den" and blinked like a light was going out. Aelis led her towards the entrance where a line was already formed leading down the sidewalk. Wolves of all ages stood in line, in groups laughing and happily chatting away as they awaited their turn to go in. "It's the only club in town really. The other ones are more upscale for business dealings," Aelis explained as he watched Sylvie looking at everyone, "The younger wolves don't get much space to be irresponsible," he said with a laugh, "Aelis! Oh Aelis, Hi!" a she-wolf said, pulling from her group and latching onto his other arm. Sylvie didn't know who she was. She was pretty, with honey brown hair curled down her back and soft blue eyes that matched the tight sequin blue dress hugging her body. "Oh.. Hey you," Aelis said, shaking her off his arm, "Aelis, it's me Minna." She giggled, trying to grab his arm again. "Are you headed in? Want me to join you again?" She all but purred at him. Sylvie grimaced at the display. "Right... Minna, look, I'll text you. I'm escorting a special guest today," Aelis said, turning with Sylvie still on his arm for Minna to see. Minna in question glared daggers at Sylvie, who didn't know how to respond. "Who's the she-b***h?" She sneered, "Braxton's special guest, you better be nice," Aelis said. Sylvie couldn't stop the twitch of her lip in, a forced smile as she began to truly regret getting in his car. "We'll see you inside," Aelis said, pulling Sylvie along. Sylvie turned to look back at Minna, who was stomping her foot in anger as her group of friends tried to pull her back into the line. "Hey Drake," Aelis said when they reached the entrance door, a massively large burly man stood outside. A black shirt with 'security' printed on his shirt. "Sup" was his only monotone reply as he opened a red rope, letting Aelis and Sylvie enter without issue. Music pulsated around Sylvie as she was met with dim lighting except for colored spotlights moving the room without direction. There was a bar on the far left, plush seats to the right, a balcony overlooking the center dance floor and a DJ in the far back. "Let's find Braxton," Aelis had to shout to get her to hear him. She recently nodded and allowed herself to continue to be pulled as he headed up a set of stairs tucked in the back wall by the seats. Another security guy moved out of the way to allow them both to pass without issue.
