I think joining this pack might very well be the most intense and intimidating thing I’ve ever done in my life up to this point, mostly because so many important people were in the room with all their eyes fixed on me the whole time. There was the Alpha and Luna, the Beta, Elder Ben, John, and of course, Delta Eric. And once the others realized that all the leadership was there besides the Gamma, they called him in too. And then they all just stood huddled around the Alpha’s desk watching me.
It kind of made my skin crawl and my scalp itch to have that much attention on me, and I hope I never have to experience something like that ever again.
