I may not have been tired when the Gamma first expected me to be, but I’m getting there now. It feels like he’s had me and Audra doing literally every random thing he can think of, from sparring to obstacle courses to scavenger hunts to sniffing out strangers in the woods to identifying herbs and poisons to I don’t even remember what else. I have no idea how long we’ve been at this, but I’m starting to worry that he intends to have me keep going until I drop.
Not that I’m anywhere near at risk of that, but that’s kind of the problem. I don’t want to still be doing this, but every time that I think we must be just about done, he whistles and calls out directions for setting up some new challenge. It’s endless.
