The night was getting dark but I still lay semi-conscious on Kane's bed, although I was able to move after the blood had returned to my legs, but I remained still for a long time. The slow blood flow had caused swelling in my legs, which were still as they were after the night had passed. I had spent the whole night with paralyzed legs. Now, when my paralysis subsided after some warmth, I fell into a deep sleep.
