BEFORE LOVE

EPISODE 9

I offered to drive her home but she declined, who does that to me, to a whole Xavier Brown many people would do any thing just to touch my dress and here she is rejecting my offer. I have to let her go, I can't force her take my kind gesture since she doesn't want it. My driver trialled after her just like I had instructed, just to make sure that she does not fall into danger and that she takes a good cabby, cos I'm not sure if I can survive it if any thing happens to her. We followed her for not less than fifteen minutes yet she did not stop any cab, wait is she going to walk that long distance on foot,under this scorching sun she's really stubborn though I love her discipline, other girls could have jumped in to my car with out me completing my statement but here she is trekking under the hot sun. She seems to be getting tired, I mean who wouldn't, I know for sure I can't, she went under the small shade at the side of the road, I asked the driver to stop the car and immediately zack opened the door for me to step down.

You seem to really be a stubborn fly I asked but she took her head down as if she was searching for some thing there, come with me now if not am going to carry you myself I threatened but she did not move an inch this girl's really stubborn but I love her just like that. An idea pumped into my head, am sure she's gonna accept now, if you don't agree am going to go on my knees and you know what that means I threatened again, Jeez she's even more stubborn than that little devil of a sister, I made the next move going on my knees but she stopped me I will go with you she said, that's my girl she i said and for the first time she rolled her eyes, you're more beautiful when you do that I said...

This guy never give up can you imagine he was trailing behind me all this while, he wanna give me a drive but I declined despite how scorching the sun was just don't him to find out that am no were close to his class but he refused to accept defeat. By now no student was found around the street, every one has already gone to their various homes but I was waiting for Xavier to come take his back pack in class but he didn't show up and in the cause of that I slept off. I was getting tired the seems really angry, I had to stay under a shade I saw by the side of the road at least let me rest a bit, you seem to really be a stubborn fly some one asked oh it's Xavier, never knew he was still following me, sometimes I wonder what's his problem. After so many threatening I finally had to succumb to the offer, I really like how friendly he is trying to be but am afraid, yes one day he would surely find out am as poor as the word poor sounds and he will leave just like others did. He opened the car door for me himself while one of his guard opened the door for him, just the both of us were at the back seat while the guard that opened the door for him with the driver sat at the front seats, then the rest of the guards trialled behind us in another car. This guy is supper rich you know, even a mere look at him you would smell wealth, I don't think I deserve this kind gesture from him, I know just like a mere look at him you see wealth, a mere look at me also you see poverty, I kept my head low just like I always do when ever am with him. Are you okay he asked, I just nod my head, when we got to a nearby eatery he asked the driver to stop, I know you won't allow me get you some thing to eat if I asked you so no need asking so I will get you anything I wish, Xavier said, whispered some thing to the hearing of the second guy in the front seat, yeah the same guy who opened the door for him. Within a short time the guy was back with two bags in his hand, he passed it to Xavier and went back to take his seat and the driver moved the car again,you've already stressed me a lot in one day please don't further stress me he said giving me the two bags, thank you sir but I didn't ask for this, you've done enough by driving me home I said still keeping my head low, but you have to stay extra time just to make sure my back pack and books were safe he said, I know but you don't really have to pay back I mean that was from my heart, I don't need any pay back I explained but he never listened, he further went ahead to threaten me he would ask his guard to go into my house and give the bags to mum so I had to accept, he's so good at threatening. I asked the driver to stop some distance away from my house, in a lonely street, I don't want people to see me with Xavier, I mean Xavier Brown the only son of late Mr Brown and the heir apparent to all his property including our school, also I didn't want Xavier to know my house, he's going to know we aren't rich even a bit and might end up kicking me out of the school environment. Mum was really worried when I first saw her from the window, she must have opened it to check for me, oh my bad I totally forgot about her condition, I opened the door gently so she won't become terrified, oh my child my child she repeated twice before tears start strolling down to her chick, am really a bad child, how could I have forgotten mum trying to protect what isn't mine, mum am sorry I kept you worried, am really sorry I said before I realised I was already in tears my self.

I later narrated the whole story to mum but she still found it hard to believe, I mean who would believe that the super star that millions of people are willing to do everything possible just to talk to him chose me of all people a common poor pet like myself, it's just like a dream that would never come to pass, he even went to the extend of buying me some thing to eat, a whole lot you know, at least with all those meal he bought we wont have to prepare any other food for the next seven days,less I forget he also gave us some cash, we found it inside one of the bags, would thank him tomorrow, I know it must have cost a lot but definitely not to him.
