I had spent the entire night dealing with the events that had taken place. Dad was in no fit state to handle it, so Beta Watson, Shaun, and I had handled everything between us. We had checked the entire pack lands with some help from some of the warriors. We wanted to be completely sure that there were no more hunters lying in wait. I had also told everyone to keep an eye out for anything that could show us how the hunters got in to begin with. I had a niggling feeling in the back of my mind about that. I hoped that I was wrong, but Kelly leaving the way that she had without alerting me to there being something wrong was bothering me.
