JAKE I hadn’t really slept last night. How could I? I had wanted to run down to Holly’s room this morning to check on her, but couldn’t bring myself to. I was too afraid of what I’d find. I couldn’t handle the thought that I might find her in pain because of me. Yet I couldn’t ignore it either. I knocked on Ally’s door.
