(2) The Black Wolf

I wake up a few hours later and head to my room it was dark so I was quiet, extremely quite with ease like it was my nature. I lay on my bed and turn all the lights off then open my curtains to look at the beautiful night sky and. The moon the beautiful moon was high in the sky and I heard a whisper, the same whisper I hear whenever I'm angry or look to the nightsky "I'm coming" so faint I could just hear it, everyone thinks my family has super hearing and super strength due to my hearing and strength I think its just my family's traits. I look up to the moon and feel like howling but that would be weird in a neighborhood but something deep inside of me was trying to get out I could feel it, it wanted the moon, it wanted the night, it wanted the wind, it wanted... Freedom, or did i want it I couldn't tell, I opened the glass window as there was no fly wire barrier against it and i was hot I let the cool wind brush my elbow length golden hair and I closed my brown eyes and breathed in deeply gathering as much cool breeze as I could.I was about to close the window when there was a loud but distant ear-splitting howl carried by the wind I snapped my eyes open and lent out the 2 story window looking to where I think the source is "hmm everyone's sleeping so I can go for a look" I whispered to myself before jumping out the window and landing soundlessly on the pavement before sprinting in the direction I heard the noise. Not to long after I arrived at an oval surrounded by trees I have never seen before I look around for any movement and in the centerish I see a person and a... "WOLF" I yell before hitting the ground so they don't see me 'they seem to be fighting' I think to myself "wait, that person is using magic? " I look to the person before the massive car sized wolf bares it huge teeth and lunges at the "VAMPIRE!! " I clap my hand over my mouth it has long canines with red eyes and the wolf is pitch black barely visible with green eyes "what the hell" I creep closer to the shadows of the trees and stand when I'm sure I'm out of site and walk closer until there about a bus infront of me. The vampire jumps out the way of the wolf and grabs its neck flipping it over and tightening her grip, the wolf whimpering and struggling to get out of the strangle. Something in me kicks into overdrive and I loose control of my body and I start running into the fray, I yell before jumping incredibley high over the wolf and grabbing the vampire and pushing her to the ground making her let go of the wolf who falls to the ground breathing heavily before running quickly over to us and grabbing her head ripping it from her body in a spray of blood and I drop the body falling over breathing hard before realising what had happened and I turn to the wolf who is just looking at me, before I heard it a deep female like voice in my head "who are you" I hear looking at the wolf who lays down "I'm Shahli" I speak to the wolf before it hurriedly gets up and bows its head "I'm sorry Alpha, please exept my apology " I bow my head " I do, WAIT WHAT! ALPHA " I say shocked "I'm sorry Alpha would you like me to shift" she says before shifting into a beautiful tall black haired woman " Alpha I'm sorry about that" she goes on i step back "wait I'm confused YOUR A WOLF , THAT WAS A FRICKING VAMPIRE, I LOST CONTROL,YOU TURNED TO ME AND CALLED ME ALPHA, WHAT!!! " I scream she cringes "I'm so sorry Alpha , are you Alpha Carly's pup" I stare then breathe "My mother names Carly I have no clue what this Alpha stuff is and i don't know who you are" she stands there in silence processing what I said before speaking again "forgive me Alpha Shahli I did not know your mother kept this from you and I can get in deep trouble for this" I step forward slowly "please tell me everything this does not seem like a game" she breathes out heavily looking around before kneeling to my level, surprisingly she's still taller than me"ok for starters your mother and father are powerful beings that rule us, your father is the most powerful Alpha the world has ever seen and your mother is a werewolf - vampire hybrid" I sit on the cold grass "is that why my family has heightened senses " she looks me in the eyes holding my hands "you and only you are a vampire - werewolf hybrid out of your siblings and yes you have more senses than your siblings but you all have more than average human senses" I breath in and out as things click into place "so faster running everything is better than usual" I say "yes, but you, you are the next most powerful thing in the world, you are a werewolf so you can run faster than a motor vehicle in wolf form , you can smell something or someone from here to the city and know exactly were that thing is you can also see things better and your a vampire so you can run faster than a normal person at lighting speed and also smell things far away but what both of them have is super strength and when your in wolf form you triple that but your also part human so its harder to blend in. Do you understand" I stare blankly at her "wow that's amazing but am I human right now" I start asking her questions "no your vampire but you haven't unlocked your wolf or vampire side yet do you get me" I nod "yes i understand so I'm immortal" she nods "what about my siblings will they die" I ask her "no ones sure yet if they are part vampire then they will be immortal but not have fangs and vampire features" I stand up "what about me when I was shouting at some people that I'm sure weren't wolves they passed out" she smiled "well that's means your an Alpha you have the Alphas voice that can make all wolves but also humans bow to your command whenever" I start to jump up and down but stop "so how do i, I suppose unlock my gifts" she stands up straight "it depends really most wolves come of age which is 13-15 some such as myself first shift into our wolf when we are in danger but our wolves can take over" I think harder "what about you" she smiles hugging me "I'm your mothers beta, my name is Krystal she holds one of the largest and strongest packs in the world containing around 850 wolves" I drop my jaw "holy cow" I say she raises her head to the moon "the moon goddess is the creator of all wolves make sure you thank her when you can" she bows and i silently thank the moon goddess for my life " I wish I could at least see my wolves coat color" I turn to krystal "yes your wolves coat color depends on your personality and what wolf you get" "cool" I say amazed "so why didnt my mother tell us this" I ask "I don't know I suppose its because she didn't want you to become dark and corrupt for power like your father at such a young age maybe" I shake my head "I don't plan too" I look up to the moon "tell me about you wolf" I ask "well her names Celine and she is pitch black as you saw and you can talk to them about anything really and they mind link other wolves that's how wolves talk to each other and us" so cool" I jump up and down "but there is a bad thing to wolves and that is  once you find your mate that's all your wolf wants" I look to her "that sounds nice tho having someone to be with" she thinks "for some it is" I try to feel for my wolf but give up "have you found your mate" she shakes her head "no", "ok one more thing if your at school or something and your about to shift for the first time do you hold it in" she looks at me like I'm stupid "oh no let her run free" . We sit in silence for a a while before i jump up and freak "I GOTTA GET HOME!! " she stands "I can give you a ride she says before shifting and I climb onto her back and she races like the wind back to my home.
