For a moment they both stared at each other, Johanna confused how can she feel like this for her half brother. She was thinking was her wolf insane, how come her half brother is her mate. Didn't aunt Zoey say this Stan is her father's son.

Stan is also confused who is busy whispering in his head, and what is this thing called Mate? Lots of strange this have been happening to him lately, actually this year has been a year of strange happenings. Turning 18 has changed his life or the way the universe is supposed to be. He has a stranger in his body who speaks to him but he has now managed to shut him down. He has heightened sense of smell and healing is now very quick without even visiting a doctor. He has many questions and few answers, he tried asking mama but she always ignores him or changes the subject.

"Zoey speak now. What is this nonsense about him being my son? Alpha Cedric roared.

" Let's sit down I will explain everything." said Zoey with a small voice

"Are you telling your alpha what to do? you are giving me orders now?

"Yes he's your son" said Zoey again hiding behind her brother avoiding Luna Monica's stare.

"Cedric Alfonso Manoa you have an illegitimate child. You cheated on me?" Luna Monica is furious.

" I cheated on you with who?"

"With his mother isn't that clear" said the Luna next to tears. "Am I Joseph from the Bible who was gifted with a child? now I have a child without fathering him. Zoey speak? " He takes a step towards her. Luna Monica runs and stands in front of him

" Who's your mistress Cedric" Cedric throws her a chilling glare and shout "Zoey"

" He is Maggie's son" said Zoey with a quivering voice as tears start flowing down her cheeks.

"What?" Alpha, Luna and Beta said in unison.

" You are joking, This can't be true" they said.

"Im sorry brother" said Zoey between sobs. " For a long time I wanted to tell you, God knows I tried telling you so many times. Trust me this has been eating at me for a long time."

" No. Margaret didn't have a child, she died giving birth." said Alpha Cedric throwing himself on a chair.

" My sister I buried Margaret with her swollen belly." Luna starts massaging his shoulders.

" She's lying, she just wants to hurt you." facing Zoey " Why are you doing this? You are jealous because my son is going to be your alpha. This is nonsense"

"You know as I know that she had a son." Luna is furious.

" That son died, I know I was there." Alpha springs from his chair and faces Luna Monica.

"You were there? What were you doing there?

" I mean well... err....we all know what happened, Margaret died during child labour" she glares daggers at Zoey.

" Whos Margaret?" asks John

"He's my brother's first wife, the real Luna of this pack" not looking at Monica she continues.

"Im sick and tired of keeping your secrets Monica, they are eating at me. I can't sleep. My brother, I can't lie to you anymore" she is quite for some time stealing glances at his brother who doesn't respond but staring at Zoey as if in a trance.

"Margaret didn't die of a difficult child labour, she was murdered, poisoned by Monica"

"Shut up you whore."

"When the poison was eating at her, she gave birth to a boy before breathing her last breath." She sobs tears streaming down her face. "Im sorry my brother but I did one thing good on that day. I saved your son's life. He was so handsome and looked exactly like you" she pleadingly looks at alpha Cedric.

" What did you do you imbecile? Didn't I tell you to kill the bastard?"

" I didn't, yes you wanted me to have blood in my hands but I couldn't kill my brother's son. I went outside and put him in a dog's kernel, later I gave the child to a stranger who was willing to take him"

"You b***h" she jumps to Zoey and strangles her. Stan removes her from Zoey and throws her away. Cedric appearance changes, he became an old man the energy all drained from him. He collapses on the floor and says "My Luna, my goddess, my everything, the one I love. How can you do this to me?
