Knox entered, followed by Ximena and Alex. TrysKa must have stayed back with the ship.
Knox and Ximena took a seat on Amalie’s left, and Alex slid past her and pulled up a chair to her right.
“Looks like you’ve been busy giving rides,” Perez said, pulling up an invoice and transferring funds to the Knox’s account to cover the cost. “A lot of those children have received a tour of Maverick.”

“About half of the kids wanted to go home,” Knox said. “The other half went to Serving Hands.”
Serving Hands.“And there were a few older ones who ran off,” Alex said. “No doubt they’ll attempt revenge later.”
“Most of them will get arrested,” Amalie said, having already completed that calculation. “But not all.”
