Ruhanika's breath caught in her throat.

Aditya was staring at her as if he were going to devour her right then and there. His eyes were bloodshot. His face held a look of madness, of obsession.

Ruhanika was trembling with fear. She was slowly backing away.

"Where are you going, Ruhanika?" Aditya's voice echoed through the room. So cold and so dangerous.

He was taking one step toward her.

Ruhanika's back hit the wall. There was nowhere left to run.

Aditya placed one hand on the wall and with his other hand, he grabbed her chin. His hot breath was falling on Ruhanika's face.

"I'm looking at you with so much love, and you're scared?"

he said, grinding his teeth,

Tears started to stream down Ruhanika's face.

Tarun's eyes widened as soon as he saw the two of them in that state.

For a moment, he froze, then he came to his senses and rushed toward them.

He pulled Aditya away from Ruhanika with all his strength and stood between them.

"What are you doing, Aditya? Have you gone crazy?" Tarun shouted.

Aditya's breathing was rapid. His red eyes now fixed on Tarun.

Aditya slowly rolled up his shirt sleeve and, grinding his teeth, said,

"Tarun... don't get in the middle. If you even lay a hand on her, I'll make you so ugly you won't be able to show your face to anyone ever again. Understood?"

His voice was so dangerous that even Tarun took a couple of steps back.

Ruhanika was still trembling against the wall.

Ruhanika didn't waste a moment there.

Seeing Aditya in that deranged state had made her soul tremble. She fled from there in fear.

She went straight to her cabin. Her breathing was rapid, and her hands were trembling.

She quickly grabbed her files, took her bag, and left the hospital without telling anyone.

She felt like Aditya was still following her.

Aditya saw her running. His eyes turned even redder.

He said softly, .

Run all you want. From this hospital, from this city... but you won't be able to run from me. I will find you everywhere."*

A short while after she left, Aditya became completely calm.

As if nothing had happened. His red eyes were back to normal, and the craziness was gone from his face.

He looked at Tarun gently.

Tarun was watching him in fear and shock. The only question in his eyes was how his friend had become like this.

Aditya straightened his shirt and said in a completely normal voice, "What? What are you looking at?"

Tarun was still shaken, "Aditya... are you okay? What were you doing with Ruhunika just now? She got scared."

Aditya gave a small smile; it was a very terrifying smile.

"Nothing... I was just explaining it to him."

Tarum, trembling, grabbed Aditya's hand and said,

"I mean... what were you explaining to him? I don't get it, Aditya. Why are you being so weird?"

Aditya shook off Tarun's hand and said,

"This isn't any of your business. Let's go home. I have a lot of work to do."

And then he slowly... let out a mysterious laugh.

It was a very strange laugh. Not quite laughter, not quite anger. The kind of laugh that could make anyone's soul shudder.

Tarun just stared at him, bewildered. He couldn't understand what his friend wanted.

*Night Scene - Aditya's House*

Aditya had come home, but his mind was still at the hospital. With Ruhaanika.

The room was dark. He was standing on the balcony, smoking a cigarette, but all he could see was Ruhanika's terrified face.

Tarun was sitting on the sofa, watching him.

"Aditya, go to sleep, man. It's late," Tarun said.

Aditya threw the cigarette down

He picked up a file on Ruhaanika from his desk. He had officially gotten Ruhaanika's complete biodata.

When Aditya opened Ruhaanika's file, her family details were also inside.

And the moment he saw them, Aditya's mind was shaken.

Last night... in the forest... the girl he found crying was none other than Ruhanika's younger sister.

Her name was written in the file - mini

And along with it was her brother's data - aman

At the bottom of the file, a note was written - "Ruhanika, her younger brother, and her younger sister live together. They have no one in this world but each other."

Aditya's eyes lit up. A dangerous smile spread across his face.

"So... that's it," Aditya muttered. "It means Ruhanika's entire world... is just her brother and her sister."

"If I get her world in my hands, Ruhanika herself will come to me."

He closed the file. He now had his hands on Ruhanika's biggest weakness.

He traced his finger over the name and smiled like a madman.

*"Ruhanika... you escaped from the hospital, but how will you escape from my mind? Now, you've come right into my home."*

He hugged the file to his chest and closed his eyes.

Standing behind him, Tarun saw everything and understood perfectly that his friend was about to do something big.

He walked away from Aditya and went straight to William.

"Sir, what are you doing here?" William asked.

Tarun Sir's face was filled with anger and tension. He said, "William, tell me the truth... what's going on? What has Aditya been up to lately?"

William got a little scared, then he told everything that happened last night.

"Sir, about the girl in the jungle last night... and this morning, Sir Aditya asked me for Doctor Ruhunika's complete bio-data. Her home address, details about her siblings... everything."

"I thought it was for a case, so I gave it."

Hearing this, Sir Tarun's face grew even more stern.

*Meanwhile, Ruhanika was at her home.*

She was trying to be normal, trying to forget everything that had happened at the hospital that morning.

She had cooked food in the kitchen. Aman and Mini's favorite food.

The three of them were sitting together, happily eating their meal.

A small table, three plates, and a lot of love.

Mini said, "Didi, the food was so delicious today!"

Aman laughed, "Yeah, Didi, you're the best."

Ruhanika looked at the two of them and smiled. This was her whole world. It felt as if nothing had happened that morning. But she didn't know that her little happiness wouldn't last much longer.

After eating, the three of them went to their respective rooms to sleep.

The house was quiet. A light rain was falling outside.

Ruhanika lay in her bed, but sleep was nowhere in sight. Aditya's crazy face from this morning kept flashing before her eyes.

Aman was in his room, and Mini had fallen into a deep sleep.

He thought tonight would be just like any other night. But he didn't know that someone was on their way to their house to shatter that very peace.

*It was 2:17 AM.*

Outside, it was pouring rain. Lightning flashed repeatedly, and the entire house was pitch black.

Ruhanika was fast asleep.

Then... *Knock... knock... knock...*

Someone knocked very softly on the door.

Ruhanika turned over. She thought it was probably the sound of the rain.

But then... *Knock... knock... knock...* This time the sound was clearer and louder.

She was scared. Who could it be at this hour of the night?

She slowly got up and opened the door...

And her heart stopped.

Aditya was standing there.
