Damon’s house was very nice. It had a beautiful garden in the front with many different plants and flowers. The house was very stylish and modern, unlike the other houses in their town. It felt cozy and safe and Maya looked around as Damon fished in his pockets to find the front door keys. The moment they entered, a little fluffy kitten jumped out of nowhere and got stuck to his leg. It was so adorable. Maya wanted to crouch down and play with it.
She smiled and sat down to pat it. Damon smiled when he saw her acting a little normal and thought the kitten would make her feel better. She got up and asked if she could use the bathroom.
Damon knew what she wanted and handed her a towel and a spare toothbrush.
