Jared quickly removed Mark from his thoughts. He didn’t want to allow the negative thoughts to ruin his date with Maya. He was feeling anxious. He just wanted to go to the spot he had prepared for her. Why was he agitated? It’s not like he had a crush on her. Did he? No, it was his friends who were bothering him, and he didn’t like that. He didn’t like pressure and, as he was such a popular guy in school, no one did that to him. He had always been looked up to and everyone had flocked around him.
