Josephine stayed with Maya the whole night, checking up on her occasionally. She was relieved to see that Maya had not been sexually assaulted, and she was physically okay. Mentally, she was not sure. And if Jared was involved, like Damon said he was, then Maya must have gone through something very hard. She had a crush on him for so long, it wasn’t a crush anymore. She had grown to love Jared, and he didn’t even know she existed.
