Love or less?

Chapter 6

Arjun held his cheek and stared in shock at Ahana. Even Ahana couldn’t believe that she had just slapped him but she was shaking. Not with fear but with anger this time.

Arjun crossed all his boundaries this time, first he treats her coldly last week and completes ghosts her while he owed her an explanation. Today he takes her out on a drive, without an apology nor explanation for ghosting her nor for the previous incident and he just starts taking advantage of her just because she refused to answer him.

And why? Because he was mad at her for not telling him about the job? For giving him the cold shoulder? For denying his touch?

He knew how sensitive she was about s*x and how sacred it was to her and yet he let his emotions get the better of him and tried anyway, that too in anger and without resolving any prior issue? Maybe she was partly responsible in this matter and got carried away too but either way, it wasn’t right.

If there was anyone who should be furious, it was her! She wasn’t going to sit around like this and get toyed by him, her love for him or his touches may be her weakness but she wasn’t going to let him use that to get the upper hand, not now. Not ever. Maybe other couples reconciled this way but not her. You can’t just kiss it better.

Snapping back to reality, Arjun adjusted his clothes and got back behind the steering and fired up the engine without a word.

Ahana on the other hand, adjusted her clothes as well and pulled up the seat and fastened her seatbelt.

The drive back to Ahana’s house was pin drop silence. When they arrived at her gate, before getting down, Ahana finally spoke, “I’m sorry for hurting you Arjun but you need to know you stepped on a line, you can’t expect me to make love with you when I’m angry at you. My anger is the reason why I didn’t tell you about the job offer. Why I’m angry? Think for yourself. Thank you & good night,” and she walked away into her home.

Arjun had his eyes on the street ahead of him the entire time she spoke and drove away in speed once she got inside her abode.

Ahana tossed and turned that night in bed unable to sleep, thinking about Arjun, she still can’t put a finger on him and his actions and that scared her. The darkness in his eyes and quick changes in mood scared her - HE SCARED HER.

“Haih...What have I gotten myself into?” her mindvoice asked her and with that thought, sleep sat heavily on her lids and she dozed off.

That weekend...

It was Saturday morning and Ahana’s phone was blaring till it woke her from sleep. She saw the time on her nightstand, it was 7am.

Who was calling her this early on a weekend morning, she thought and looked at the phone screen - NITI.

Ahana answered immediately hoping all was well with her bestie, otherwise that sleepy head wouldn’t be calling this early on a weekend morning.

“Hello, Niti. You okay?” asked Ahana anxiously.

“What? What’s wrong with me? responded Niti on the other end.

“You’re calling so early then?”

“Oh right, it’s about Arjun. I bumped into him at a bar last night, he was very wasted A. I got worried and gave him company while inquiring if something happened,”

“Then?” came Ahana’s response in absolute worry.

“Dude, I didn’t even know you guys had a fallout. Why didn’t you tell me? I will deal with that later.

Listen to me now, go see him soon A. He’s really upset that you guys fought and that you’re refusing to speak to him,” urged her bestie.

“Okay Niti... Is he okay?” Ahana inquired.

“I don’t know man, emotionally no I’m sure. He was too wasted and calling out your name repeatedly, my colleagues and I had to take him home in his car late last night. He was in no shape to get home alone, we informed the guard too so that he could watch out for him,” Niti said.

“God! Why didn’t you call me last night itself?”

“It was pretty late and I know how strict your folks are, there wasn’t anything that you could have done but it’s okay. We took care of it, you just go see him today and sort it out okay?” Niti answered.

“Okay Niti. Thank you, I love you!” Ahana exclaimed.

“I love you too, A... And Ahana, tell me every detail later okay?” Niti reminded her.

“ I will, bye,”

“You better, laters!” said Niti and hung up.

Ahana’s heart broke at this update, but she had no time to waste. She quickly jumped into the shower and got ready as fast as she could and grabbed a bun to munch on her way out.

Within less than half an hour, Ahana was parking her car outside Arjun’s mansion. She walked straight in, the guard recognised her by now and let her in immediately.

He must have announced on the intercom about her presence because the big doors of the mansion flung open even before she made her way up the steps leading towards it.

There stood Arjun, at the door - hair dishevelled and eyes blood red. Shirtless as always, still in his jeans - probably the same one he wore last night and as Ahana stepped in, she could smell it. He reeked of alcohol.

He didn’t say a word and shut the door behind them. Ahana’s heart really broke at the sight of her Arjun in this condition, pushing all her anger and ego aside she flung her arms open and hugged him.

She had been wanting to do that since the moment she saw him at the door.

Arjun hugged her back weakly. Ahana cupped his face and looked into his eyes, his usually dark mocking eyes stared back at her sadly this time. She kissed him on the lips and took him to the kitchen.

She quickly started prepping breakfast for both of them. They both ate their breakfast in silence.

“Arjun, talk to me,”

“What happened? Niti told me everything. I got so worried Arjun,” she said in a quivering voice.

“Please, Arjun” she added.

Arjun looked up at her, cleared his throat and spoke alas, “ Ahana, I know I do crazy unexplainable stuff at times. But I feel so possesive and needy of you all the time, that I lose control. I don’t want to lose you because of that. But I think I’ve already lost you, I thought we were end game. But I think changes are coming our way, and we aren’t endgame after all and it makes me mad,”

“What are you talking about Arjun? What changes?” asked Ahana in confusion.

“I’ve got a transfer along with a promotion, just got it yesterday,” answered Arjun briefly.

“Wow! That’s great baby, congrats! But that’s good news isn’t it?” Ahana asked as she leaped up from her stool to hug and kiss Arjun.

Arjun held her arms and said , “It is! Since I’ve been wanting this and working for it for a long time. Great for our future too. But... It’s in Hyderabad and I leave next week,” dropping the bomb on Ahana finally.

Ahana felt heavy and only could mouth an ‘oh’ in response.

“You see why it’s killing me now Ahana? That we will be away from each other and I just can’t handle that. You just got this job over here, so we both will be separated and that too as soon as possible!” he exclaimed.

“I saw this coming, I mean I anticipated the move and promotion, I sure as hell wanted it. But that was when I didn’t meet you, that was before we got together. It was before the time I could function without you,” he added.

Ahana’s heart broke more hearing him say all that. She just didn’t know what to say or do at this point.

“But Arjun, won’t long distance work? At least for sometime, then perhaps I too can move there after awhile? For time being we can meet once a month or so, it is after all our neighbouring state?” she asked hopefully.

“I can’t do long distance, Ahana. Don’t you see how I crave for you, how I need you with me always? Even this distance that we have , of you and I living at separate homes in the same city bothers me,” he argued.

“But wait, what did you say? That you will move? Then why don’t you move with me next week? Why wait till later” he added on ethusiastically.

“What are you saying, Arjun? I just got a job here, and I start next month. Besides, what will I tell my parents?” she asked him wide-eyedly.

“Ahana you’re a topper, you can get a job anywhere. Hyderabad has many MNCs too, you will find one as soon as we get there I assure you. As for your parents, you can always tell them you got a better offer over there with a bigger salary package,” he answered her.

“Lie to them? Are you crazy? I can’t do that Arjun! And besides where will I stay? They obviously wouldn’t let us live-in before marriage. You know how they are,” said Ahana defensively.

“Wouldn’t you even do that for me, Ahana? For us? As for lodgings, I can find you a flat. You don’t have to stay with me,” he said trying to reason with her.

“I don’t know Arjun, I can’t lie to my parents. And what if I don’t get a job there?” she said.

“Don’t you trust me? Ahana, baby don’t make me beg,” Arjun pleaded.

It really hurt her to see her Arjun feeling all so helpless but what was she to do.

Suddenly she heard a soft sobbing sound, she turned and realised it was Arjun. She couldn’t believe her eyes nor ears. She hugged him immediately not knowing what to say.

He pushed her away, his eyes red and teary, “No Ahana, we are done! I tried finding a way but you wouldn’t even give it a thought! We are done! Leave!” he roared scaring Ahana in the process.

Noooooo! Ahana thought, she can’t let this happen and she can’t bear to see him like this. Not just Arjun, she too will be nerve wreck if they broke up. She had finally found her first love, was she going to give up and give in so easily?

She made up her mind quickly and said, “Arjun, I will tell my parents what’s needed and book my tickets to Hyderabad too. I better start applying to companies there,” she said simply.

“Really Ahana? You would do that?” Arjun asked excitedly.

“Yes baby. For you. For us,” she said with tears in her eyes.

Arjun hugged her tightly, his nose in her hair, “Oh Ahana, you have no idea how happy I am right now? So happy that, I want to feel every part of your body and fill your every hole. I want and need every inch of you Ahana to satiate my hunger and joy right now,” he said softly in her ears.

“But you would never let me, you deprive me of my happiness Ahana!” he complained.

Ahana pushed him back and what she did next, even surprised her till this very day.

She got down on her knees, and undid Arjun’s jeans and tugged it down in a pull along with his boxers. Out sprang his monster member, all hard right on her face.

“Was he always erected around her?” wondered Ahana.

She then held his length in her hands and brought it slowly towards her mouth. She started kissing the tip and licked his entire length. Arjun closed his eyes at the sensation and started moaning.

She had never done this before so here goes. She put him into her mouth, she underestimated his girth and length, it filled her up fully and gagged her so bad.

She could barely breathe but it was too late now, Arjun held her by the hair and started thrusting in and out of her mouth. She closed her eyes shut.

Arjun spoke up, “Open your eyes Ahana and look up at me! Look at me while I’m f*****g your mouth,” he said sternly in between his moaning.

Ahana obeyed and after few more sessions of thrusting, she felt him climax at the back of her throat while letting out a growl, “f**k!!!!” he exclaimed loudly. It was too much for her pretty small mouth, she wanted to puke it out.

She was starting to but Arjun stopped her and said, “Swallow Ahana!” . She looked at him with pleading eyes, but he said, “Now!”

She did as told and hated it but it was done and dusted now. She got up fast and ran to the washroom, and didn’t come till half an hour later.

Later that day, Ahana invited Niti over to her place and spilled everything, not missing out any detail.

“Girllllllll! You went down on him?” she exclaimed. “Who are you and what have you done with my bestfriend?” she added on laughing.

“Ssshhhh, Niti! Now you’ve gotta help me convince my folks about Hyderabad,” said Ahana.

“A, I’m really upset about that part though. Didn’t you think of me or your parents? Isn’t this what you always wanted? To work over here, close to home? Do you really want it to slip out of your hands for this boy?” Niti questioned her intently.

“I know Niti. This isn’t easy for me as well but I want to be with Arjun, and be there for him too. Plus I doubt I can do LDR either Niti,” she explained.

“A, don’t you think you’re moving too fast with Arjun?” asked Niti further.

“I don’t know but all that I know is I love him, haih. Why does life have to get so complicated?” she sighed.

“It’s okay Ahana, I will help you if this is what you want. Besides who would say no to that walking s*x on legs,” winked Niti refering to Arjun.

Ahana couldn’t help but blush and hugged her bestie muttering a thank you!

That night was a tough night at the Shetty residence, Ahana and Niti spent hours trying to explain and convince Ahana’s parents that her move to Hyderabad was a good idea and better for her future too.

At the end of it, her folks finally agreed with a heavy heart and sadness in their eyes. They will miss her again they said , just like when she was away for University.

Ahana felt bad and teared a little too seeing her parents upset but it had to be done. The very next day itself she started researching and sent out applications to companies in Hyderabad.

She was just lucky that her folks didn’t ask to see her offer letter from the so-called Hyderabad company that offered her a fat salary. Pheewww!

She started doing some shopping for her move and Niti came over daily to help her pack too. Truth was , Ahana knew that was just an excuse. She knew her bestie was trying to spend as much time as she can get with her before Ahana left.

Arjun left for Hydrerabad a few days before her, he told her to join him in a few days time so that he can settle himself there and find her a flat and get it ready for her so that she can settle right away once she got there.

Ahana thought it was a good idea and followed.

The day came when she had to leave Bangalore. Her heart felt heavy and fluttered in excitement at the same time.

Her parents and Niti saw her off at the airport. As she fastened her seatbelt on the plane, Ahana looked out into the runway wondering what will Hyderabad hold in store for her?

If only she knew...
