Chapter 5In Chicago, on the bus ride home, since their workday had ended at roughly the same time that evening, Finn told Russel all about Gideon and Rudy’s new family.
“That’s awesome,” Russel said. “I mean, not for those poor kids, but if things are better now, and it sounds like they will be, for them, too, right?”
“Yeah. For them, too.”
“I really hope they get to stay together.”
“Gideon says the angels wouldn’t take back such a great gift. He really believes they helped them find each other.” Finn noticed Russel tense at the mention of angels. “How is your project coming?” He put his head on Russel’s shoulder.
“Getting there. I gave people a few extra days to submit names and photos, but at Adam’s urging, no more. I have to stop, so I can get it done.”
