Chapter 2Act One went off without incidence. Sal went up once while speaking with Jacob Marley, but Major looked him right in the eye, and then winked, something that rarely happened with other actors in the roles, Sal would have bet. It brought Sal around, and with Scrooge snuggled back in bed right before intermission, when prerecorded film from various Brewster Center for the Performing Arts alumni and regulars singing Christmas carols would roll, Sal was feeling grateful that half the show was now over.
