Chapter Three Welcome to London I was still pretty much zoned out, lost and confused, but at the same time, Aly’s touch pushed away the tension. I instantly sensed that I had nothing to be afraid of. The woman in front of me seemed sweet and helpful—almost like the mother figure I never had.
