“Where are we going?” Hardy asks, gazing out of the car window with curiosity.
“That’s a secret,” Luke replies, smothering a grin of satisfaction.
Hardy’s brows bump together in a scowl. “I don’t like surprises.”
Luke smirks. “I know.”
Hardy shakes his head, but there’s a small smile on his lips.
Hardy and Luke spent summer vacation glued to each other. While Hardy complained about the money Luke was spending on him, Luke insisted on taking Hardy on a trip around Europe. Even living in the UK and owning a European passport, Hardy had barely traveled across the continent. Luke decided to take that matter into his own hands and took Hardy to a dozen countries, showing him his own favorite places from when Luke spent his gap year there.
It was the best summer vacation of his life.
