I got us more refreshments as she told me stories about the struggles she met becoming queen. How a lot of pressure was on her since she was the queen of a whole race. She told me about how she had to become stronger for not only herself but her mate because she couldn’t be weak or show any weakness. I could relate with her as I had to be strong and not show weakness when I became alpha also. It was a big concern because I could be challenged by other alphas for my pack because I was a woman. And it wasn’t something we could have kept quiet. Women in roles of leadership was a hot topic and it always spread like wild fire bring a lot of attention. Attention that brought challenges and people questioning our strength.
