CHAPTER 3- THE PAST AND THE PRESENT

ALESSIA’S POV
“OMG! I CANT BELIEVE ITS YOU!” I jump onto the man in excitement
“It’s me live in the flesh” He says as he tightens the grip of the hug suffocating me.
“Okay...I…ca” I say struggling to speak.
“Right, sorry I just can’t believe its you” He says letting go of me.
“Jacob, like THE JACOB LEE!” I say struggling to contend my happiness.
“I know it’s been so long; you haven’t changed one bit you look as beautiful as I remember” he says making me blush slightly. “What are you even doing here, I didn’t think these are the type of places you like to hang out”.
“Well my dad actually forced me to attend, you know how he is” Jacob says.
“Arg yes, makes sense” I say.
“Wow it’s so good to see you Sia, honestly” Jacob says moving a bit closer to me making my heart pound faster.
“What is going on here” A voice interrupts us, snapping me back into reality.
“You must be Sia’s husband it’s nice to meet you” Jacob says extending his hand out to Liam as Liam stares at the hand with pure disgust.
“Liam this is Jacob we went to school together; he literally was the smartest guy in the whole school. “
“Oh don’t flatter me Sia” Jacob chuckles.
“It’s literally the truth remember when you literally saved my ass from our English teacher, what was her name again?”
“That would be Mrs Flackjack she was something else” Jacob says beginning to laugh.
“THE WORST!” I say confirming laughing along with Jacob.
As Liam stands their stare between us unimpressed.
“Right Mr…Jacob” Liam says trying to remember Jacob’s name. “I would like to take MY wife with me now” Liam says aggressively dragging my arm across the hallway before I could even get a word in, I quickly turn around and mouth a sorry to Jacob.
“What the hell was that all about!” Liam asks as we reach the end of the hallway still gripping onto my arm tightly.
“Excuse me!” I say crossing my arms and raising my eyebrow in confusion.
“Don’t play dumb with me Alessia! WHY WAS YOU FLIRTING WITH ANOTHER MAN!” Liam says starting to get angry.
“Aww, is someone jealous” I say in attempt to mock him. “I’m quite flattered actually, never knew a man like you could possess such emotion.”
“Don’t flatter yourself sweetheart” Liam chuckles dryly “I just don’t want everyone here thinking that my wife is a slut” He says bitterly.
For some reason his words result in my body going into complete shock as tears prickle against my eyelid.
“How dare you!” I say battling the unwanted tears.
“We are going home now, I think I have dealt with enough of your embarrassment today, you seem like you can’t keep yourself in check even for a night” Liam says before leaving me standing there alone with so much rage and anger. How dare he call me that!
The thought of him calling me such a degrading word broke me into a thousand pieces and the tears I was fighting back completely took over.

THE NEXT DAY
“Any updates on our new investors” Liam says sitting behind his office desk in the middle of a meeting.
“Sir, they are asking for 25 million dollars” One of the men in a black suit says.
“Since when?” Liam asks before Alessia burst into the office in anger.
“LIAM WE NEED TO TALK!” Alessia says completely disregarding the other men in the room.
“Ma’am we are in the middle of a very important meeting right now” One of the men says finally catching the attention of Alessia.
“Does it look like I care” Alessia says diverting her attention to the man, crossing her arms completely unbothered with the meeting taking place in front of her.
“Gentlemen lets continue this meeting later, I need to speak to my wife, privately” Liam says standing up from his chair as he waits for the men to leave the room.
“ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND ALESSIA!” Liam says.
“ME! OUT OF MY MIND! YOUR ACTUALLY A JOKE” Alessia says slapping her forehead in exaggeration.
“You just interrupted my MEETING! to what, pick a fight don’t you think this is too early for this, even for you” Liam says in attempt to patronize Alessia.
“URG!, I don’t care about your stupid meeting! why would you tell the guards to get rid of my phone and laptop!”. Alessia says becoming impatient by every passing second.
“Oh that, well after last night’s behaviour where you acted like a complete slut this was the least of the punishment, I could give you” Liam says with a slight smirk on his face.
“YOU SICK SON OF A BASTARD!” Alessia says in attempt of slapping Liam in the face.
“Princess, watch those hands” Liam says gripping tightly onto Alessia’s hand from connecting with his face.
“What are you going to do about it, huh!” Alessia says, as Liam stands there for a few seconds before connecting his lips to hers.
The kiss took Alessia by surprise, the feelings she’s been trying to fight since the night they slept together completely came rushing back like a storm. The world felt like it completely stopped, and she lost all composure of her body.
Liam slowly grips onto Alessia’s waist whilst completely devouring her lips and teasing every sensitive part of her body.
“Next time, don’t interrupt my meeting like that again princess or you won’t like the results of my actions” Liams says brushing his hot minty breath across her face before exiting the office leaving Alessia there completely starstruck.

Alessia spent the whole day in her room, refusing to face Liam, she’s so used to having so much confidence but whenever Liam touches her even in the slightest way her mind and body completely disconnect.
Her mind completely consumed by Liam, why was her body reacting like this? Why did she give him the one thing that she held so sacred to her…her virginity. She had so many questions but not one single answer and that’s when a ring completely brought her back to reality. Liam decided to give her phone back.
That man is so hot a cold all the time, Alessia thought to herself.
She quickly picked up the phone allowing herself to be distracted by something else besides Liam and that’s when she realised that an unknown number had called her.
“Hello” Alessia says patiently waiting for the person on the other side of the phone to reply.
“Alessia” An unknown female voice speaks up.
“Who is this?” Alessia asks in confusion.
“Omg I can’t believe it, baby it’s your mother!”.
“M..u..m” Alessia says trembling between her words.
