CHAPTER 5- UNBELIEVABLE

“You have been ignoring me, father!” Alessia says walking into her father’s bedroom making out with a blonde girl who looks like she’s in her early twenties in a black lingerie. When the girl notices Alessia she quickly tries to cover herself.

“Alessia! do you not know how to knock!” Her father Rodriguez says irritated, turning around, shooting daggers at her for interrupting him.

“Mia, leave me and my daughter alone” Rodriguez commands the girl to leave the room.

“Alessia how dare you just walk into my room like that!” Rodriguez says becoming irritated tightening his loose Versace robe around his body.

“I would have considered knocking but it’s not like anything I walked into would have damaged my poor, little eyes” Alessia begins to say walking around the room “I’m just surprised there wasn't more than one girl in here” she says beginning to slightly laugh as she scans the room.

“What do you want?” Rodriguez says beginning to lose his patience.

“Just because I'm married now doesn't mean I can’t come and visit my darling father” Alessia says causing her father to roll his eyes.

“Oh yes, how is your beautiful matrimony going” Rodriguez says with a smirk on his face.

“Oh, you know it's not every day your father forces you to marry a man to save his ass from bankruptcy.” Alessia says starting to become irritated by her father’s words.

“Don’t be such a brat Sia! I did what I did for the family” Rodriguez says looking at his daughter in disgust.

“What, by making me the sacrificial lamb, anyways I didn’t come to discuss your poor parenting skills.” I know you have been seeing my missed calls and messages, why haven't you gotten back to me” Alessia says as she continues to walk around the room and realizes the house interior has completely changed.

“I don’t know, which one is it the one where you ask me, how I'm doing? I'm great thank you for asking or is it the one where you say that your mother is ALIVE!”. Rodriguez says.

“She called me” Alessia says.

“Alessia do I need to check you into another mental institution again” Rodriguez says triggering Alessia.

“WOW! YOU KNOW WHAT IT WAS A MISTAKE CALLING YOU! YOU KNOW WHAT…SCREW YOU! Alessia says causing Rodriquez to slap her across the face.

“Don’t EVER speak to me like that I’m your FATHER!”

Alessia stands there in complete shock and disbelief.

“You know…your nothing but a disgrace of a father” Alessia says walking closer to Rodriguez fighting back her tears staring at the one man in this world that was meant to protect her, Alessia decides to walk out slamming the door.

“Is everything going as planned” Rodriguez says on the phone.

“All of it is perfectly coming together” The unknown voice says on the phone.

“Good” Rodriguez says with a smirk.

LATER THAT EVENING

“So, what put you in a good mood” Alessia says sitting on the table in an exquisitely expensive restaurant.

“Excuse me” Liam says taking a bite of his steak.

“Liam you don’t really wake up one morning and decide to take the wife that you despise out on a date” Alessia says.

“Even though you drive me crazy I don’t hate you Alessia and nothing is wrong with taking my wife out” Liam says causing Alessia’s heart to slightly flutter.

“So where did you go today?” Liam asks.

“I went to see my father” Alessia says digging into her lamb chops and salad.

“Why would you do that?” Liam asks.

“Excuse me!” Alessia asks confused.

“You heard me Alessia, why would you go see that man” Liam says irritated.

“Firstly, you have no rights to control what I do and secondly that man is my father” Alessia says.

“You will not see him again without informing me first” Liam says.

“Unbelievable, HOW DARE-” Alessia begins to raise her voice until she realizes the people in the restaurant start to divert their attention to her table.

“Do you know what Liam, I'm sick and tired of people trying to control my life.”

“I’m just trying to protect you” Liam says keeping his attention directly at the food.

“I know my father is not the world's best father but at least he is not a hypocrite like you, excuse me I'm going to the restroom” Alessia says leaving the table not allowing Liam to get a word in.

As Alessia walks to the restroom she feels like someone is following her, she decides to turn around and what she see’s next is not what she expected.

“Is…this…really…you” Alessia says staring at the woman in front of her.

“My…baby” The woman approaches her and suffocates her with a hug.

“M...u...m” Alessia says as tears start to furiously fall down her eyes as she buries her head into her mother’s hair.
