The Sphere is the third level of existence out of the 4 realms. Home to numerous mythical creatures that no longer reside on Middle Earth

Past
I was in the Sphere with Vikyn, Siirist, and four supporting wolves. It was early morning and I personally considered this a beautiful day. We have been steadily gaining ground and momentum taking village after village. Whether it be human familiars, Tuatha De Danann, Griffins, Basilisk, that we have faced prior to this day. We were facing the chalkydri angels. The Chalkydri have the face of a crocodile, feet and tail of a lion and are winged creatures similar to a bird.
Humans used to consider these creatures as mesmerizing I am sure. To me they are annoying rainbow birds that need to have their wings clipped. They have the ability to alter minds through song if you have a weak mind, but are undeniably stuck up creatures. Since they are considered to be an angel type dragon who are also almost celestial worthy. Some almost have Divine powers.
Which I am happy to say. I have the ground littered with their fallen and are wreaking havoc on the remainder.
Sensing a change in the air instinctively I propel us into the air at a 20 foot jump. Smacking down a Chalkydri mid flight. I allow myself to witness Araysh corner the wounded Chalkydri. Araysh himself is truly a magnificent beast. A 15 ft tall (15x35) wall of muscle and black fur with my icy blue eyes. A total badass. As was clearly displayed with our jump in case that was lost in translation. The Chalkydri withers in pain at the gash we have placed on it. Flaying it’s body in a futile desperate attempt to ward Araysh away. Suddenly I notice a ray of hope in its eyes. Reacting to this action I feel Araysh ghost which the best way I can describe this action is I no longer become a part of the physical plane. You may possibly be able to see me, but I become untouchable. The moment we become altered. One of those dumbass birds kamikazed itself into the ground at full speed. No longer having a victim to squash. It killed itself on impact. I possess my original target and will it’s heart to stop. Feeling the shrewd of impossible hope wither into a delicious fear. A fear of knowing that it’s life was over.
I phased out of its lifeless body and solidified back onto the physical plane. Araysh and I then sense that 1 of the remaining has fled into the woods for cover from an injury that it apparently obtained to its wing. Vikyn and Siirist mind link with me and it is instantly decided that we go hunting. The other four I advised to rest and to join us afterward a well deserved break.
The three of us fall into a triangular formation in a chase of our prey. The thumping of our paws reverberates into the ground. The air filled with the blood lust and growls of delight and play. A game to find what we are looking for and sensing its desperation and fear that wreaks all over the forest floor. Like a blanket of anguish coating the environment. I could not wait to get my teeth into this scared piece of s**t.
I huff and simultaneously Vikyn and Siirist pane out. Disappearing into the brush and forestry. Araysh eyes searches and we see what we are looking for.
The Chalkydri was desperately attempting to climb a rocky incline. Too injured to fly. I felt a wolf grin on my face. It was almost too pathetic to kill. I slowly stalk out waiting for it to notice my presence.
Once noticing me. It freezes in mid climb. He then pushes himself in the last go ditch effort to fly which failed miserably and crashed landed 20 yards away. I give chase. Watching my prey stumble all over the goddamn place. Suddenly the Chalkydri decided to charge at me head on. Assuming the desire to fight became greater than the flight response.
I continue my bee line to him. Meeting the challenge. As we were about to clash I dug my paws into the ground and leaped over him. As Siirist flanks the bird in surprise. Tumbling him to the ground. After landing I turn to watch Siirist toy with the bird in its last moments of life. Vikyn appears and they both take turns shredding the thing apart. It’s screams of agony echo through the environment.
It does however do something unexpected. Suddenly he transforms into a human form. He appeared to be 17, but one can never know for sure with appearances.
Blood pooling out of his mouth and disfigured body. Gasping for air. The only word he said was a plea for mercy,
“Please.”
I shift from Araysh into myself. Leaning over him I answer coldly, “No.”
Snapping his neck. The moment I ended his life. A deafening sound of silence and cold frost capes the landscape. The three of us scan our surroundings and see a woman standing amongst us. A very beautiful woman I might add which is so out of place considering what just happened. She had white hair and gown that was almost transparent that revealed a delicate body with crystal leaving intricate patterns. I suddenly was filled with an understanding or thought that wasn’t my own or any of my comrades, but of hers. She was Khione. A Goddess of ice. She floods my mind with an Order. That It has been decided with a majority ruling among the Celestials that I am to marry a Dragon, a Daughter, of the Celestial Phoenix. In payment for my crimes to her children. The Dragons are also tasked with the same order for the crimes against the Moon Goddess and her Children.
We are to cast away our destined mates that were chosen by our respective Goddess and provide children for each realm since our hatred has transcended across all four levels of existence. Each child except for one will be taken from me and raised by another to create emotional ties with the realm they are respectfully raised in. I am also cursed to never seek out my children who do not reside with me or they will die upon meeting me. Since Werewolves and Dragons have taken many Sons and Daughters from many. I am to give mine.
Present
I punch the desk inwardly causing it to break in half at the memory. If it wasn’t for those damn snakes -
werewolves wouldn’t even bother themselves with the likes of them! It was they who decided to start something. Wanting to claim the Middle Realm and grow their forces and span into new horizons. Instead of just simply being happy in the Sphere.
The battles between them have been witnessed by man in the past which is now considered mythology, legend or acts by the Gods to explain the unexplainable. That is until the Celestials created the Sphere and The Vault of Heaven. Anyone who wanted to go which included Humans that became known as the Sighted had left to go occupy their new world. Once it was all said and done. Mostly Children of Moon remained here on Middle Earth with some exceptions. Things were peaceful for a while until the dragons declared that they wanted the Middle Realm. The bastards. At first the fighting did not concern any of the Celestials. The only dictation was that we can not reveal ourselves on a large scale. A large scale meaning, no, flying dragons or wolves running around all over the place. To keep non familiar humans or the Unsighted from panicking. So we fought covertly here or even the fights are covered up as natural disasters, or even dismissed as gang wars & other crime related deaths.
The most impressive tactic that I will give kudos to those snakes since they are to avoid shifting into their dragon forms is that they compensated that loss, and developed an uncanny skill… they internally burn off their scent. Using the environment or being in a crowded public place they will take on the scents of others. A camouflage that enabled them to assassinate werewolves when their guard was down. This tactic also enabled them to infiltrate actual pack territories. After assuming the scent of a fallen patrol wolf. They would assume their identity and kill the pack. These particular dragons were the Phoenix Warriors which was an elite group of 3 all containing 12 members per group. Only way to single out these Fuckers is to locate a person who has no scent.
Nyx Flayre has been credited developing this technique…. She was notorious for luring unsuspecting unmated males and ending their lives with the promise of s*x and assignations, but again what was most disturbing were the reports that she would manifest fire in combat while in her human form. Only she and Kronos had demonstrated this skill. Earning much praise and valor, but also becoming feared. This ability has been documented as causing an increased number of casualties, and from what happened in the Parlor she is willing to use it on me.
Listening to my thoughts Vikyn and Siirist became defensive.
“Why is she still here?!” Vikyn growled.
Siirist narrows his eyes at the window. Attempting to look at anything other than what he saw in my mind.
Vikyn sighed,
“Look I knew you were going to test her, but what if she literally burned the house down?” He knife hands at the end of his question.
Noticing his lack of concern of my becoming harmed was amusing. It showed his faith that she wouldn’t have been able to land the shot anyways, and the knowledge that Araysh would have ghosted. Hence being more concerned for the house.
“ She is still here because she didn’t and the house would have survived.” I answered.
“What else did you learn?” Siirist asked.
“She has good instinct. I know my movement was too fast for her to comprehend, but her muscle memory reacts appropriately. Her attitude and defiance can undermine a weaker minded individual. In her human form she would be more of a threat to warrior ranks below 5. “
My ranking levels range from 1-6. Six being the highest tier.
“Really? Isn’t that a little high for a meta human?” Vikyn asked dismissively.
“I’ll test her more and will get back to you.” I countered.
“I think you just secretly enjoy the s****l tension between you.” Siirist wagged his brows at me.
“More of a chore, but I will get back to you.” I quickly answered.
Siirist breaks into laughter not being fooled by my response.
“Yeah, tell you what. If I was your age. Dragon or not I would gladly take up that chore list. She is beautiful despite the circumstances.” He reasons.
I roll my eyes. He would ignore her history. Siirist has been a repeat pantry robber offender until he found his mate. Sadly, she was lost to him. Their time was cut far too short, but the man wasn’t dead when it came to his opinions of women or his … escapades.
“Well, at least you guys will make good looking babies.” Vikyn joins in.
“Let us know how much you get her to squirm.” He instructs playfully.
My jaw clenched. “Knock your s**t off.” I said sternly. Even surprising myself at the intensity of my defensiveness.
Both, Vikyn and Siirist, tense at the sudden order I gave, ruining the playfulness that was just there.
“At the end of the day. She is still my wife. I am the one who has to adhere to it, so don’t talk about her like that. Or you’re about to be thrown out the goddamn window.” I threatened.
“Yes Alpha.” They replied in unison.
They both look at each other chastising themselves for speaking out of turn.
Internally I had mentally blocked them out, but I was agreeing with every word that they said. I imagined her figure and the “what if’s” of dominating her would be like. I felt a hunger in my chest at the thought. At this moment I realized when I do have her in my bed she won’t just squirm - I would make screams erupt from those lips of hers.
