DL 13: The Confession

Vile POV

"Hey Vile! Why are you kissing Zion?" Sandra asked.

I can't answer her. I have to finish doing this.

"Wait, I think he's not just kissing him," Wanda said.

I'm sucking up all the poison inside his body. I have to do this in order to save him. I promised that I will never let him fall. I will always protect him no matter what.

"He's sucking up the poison inside Zion's body!" Wanda said.

It's one of the most dangerous techniques that I've learned from Lola Veron.

"V-Vile, don't do that! It's dangerous! You might die!" Sandra shouted.

I did not listen to them. I should finish this for Zion. I only care for him. I will do everything that I can to save him.

After a few seconds, I stopped sucking up all the poison.

Zion opened his eyes so I smiled at him. I held his cheek using my hand.

"Are you ok, Zion?" I asked anxiously.

Bumangon na siya. Tumingin siya sa paligid at nakita naman niya sila Sandra.

"What happened?" He asked.

"You were poisoned by Ivy," I said.

He touched his head. I think he's a little bit dizzy because of the poison.

"Are you ok?" I asked again.

"I think I'm fine but I'm just a little bit dizzy," he said.

I smiled...

"That's so good to hear. It's just an effect of the poison but I know that you're free from it," I said.

He is standing up so I help him. He's really a hard working person. Kagagaling niya nga lang sa lason, gusto na agad niya magtrabaho. I adore him because of that.

"Where are the others?" He asked.

"Hmmm... We beat two of our friends because of June," Sandra said quietly.

"They're here!"

Lumingon na lang kami. Nakita namin si Wanda na ginagamit ang magic niya para dalhin ang mga kaibigan namin. All of them are unconscious.

"Hmmm... I think they all lose during their battles," Wanda said.

I sigh...

I hate looking at them like this...

"Hmmm... Zion, please hold this weapon for me," I said.

"Oh? You've got the weapon, Vile? Is that Deus Ve Roca? You're impressive!" Sandra said.

I nodded...

Zion is holding the weapon and he is just looking at it. I know that he can also feel a massive black energy from the weapon.

Lumakad na ako papunta sa mga kaibigan ko na nawalan ng malay...

I raised my hands in the air and I released two golden magic circles from my hands.

"With the grace of nature, I am using my gift to heal them," I said.

Their body is starting to glow in a golden light. I smiled... This is what I trained for. I am happy that I can use my magic for them.

After a few seconds, they all woke up like they're from a deep sleep.

"What happened?" Rex asked.

"Natalo ka ng kapatid mo," Wanda said.

Kumunot na lang ang noo ni Rex. Natawa naman 'yung iba.

"Ok, all of us are fine. We should go back to the guild. Nawawala na kasi 'yung mga kalaban. Tumakas na sila," sabi ni Zion.

We started walking in this forest. We should go back to the guild.

"Who found the weapon?" Dexter asked.

"Vile..." Zion said.

"Oh? Congrats Vile! You're amazing!" Dexter and Jester said.

I smiled...

"I'm just lucky. Zion ordered me to find it so I did it for him," I said sincerely.

They smiled because of what I've said. Zion is looking away. Parang malalim ang iniisip niya.

Habang naglalakad ay naramdaman ko na sumisikip na ang dibdib ko. Bumibilis ang t***k ng puso ko. Pawis na pawis na rin ako.

Umiikot na ang paningin ko pero kinakaya ko pa rin na maglakad. I used up all my magic energy to heal them and the poison that I sucked up from Zion is affecting my body now.

"V-Vile, are you ok?" Jared asked.

I can't answer him. Huminto na lang ako sa paglalakad. Lahat sila ay napatingin na sa akin.

Suddenly, I felt that I lost my consciousness. I know that I fell on the ground.

Zion POV

"Vile! Vile!" I shouted.

Bigla na lang siyang nawalan ng malay kaya nagmadali akong lapitan siya.

He's not waking up! He's completely out of his consciousness...

"What happened to him?" Sandra asked.

"I think the poison that he sucked up from Zion is affecting him. Kumakalat na ang lason sa katawan niya," Wanda said nervously.

"W-What should we do?" Dexter asked nervously.

"We should take him to our guild as fast as we can!" Sandra said.

I didn't hesitate to use my magic...

"Angel wings!" I shouted.

A huge silver magic circle released from my back together with a huge pair of white wings.

Binuhat ko na agad si Vile...

"I will take him to our guild as fast as I can," I said seriously.

"Sandra, please hold this weapon and give it to Ms. Elena," I said.

Lumipad na ako bigla pataas. I flew quickly away from them and I can feel the clouds above.

Mabilis akong lumipad... Alam ko na wala nang makakakita sa akin sa ibaba kasi sobrang taas nang lipad ko. My wings never fail me.

I looked at Vile while I'm flying in the air. He doesn't look good. He will really sacrifice his life for me? He will really do his promises to me?

Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya ganito sa akin. Naguguluhan na ako sa kanya. Ganito ba talaga siya kabait? He will really do everything for my sake? Hindi ko maintindihan kung mabait lang ba talaga siya.

"Vile, please hold on. I can't afford if you will die in my arms," I said nervously.

Kinakabahan na ako... I don't want him dead. Napapalapit na rin ang loob ko sa kanya bilang kaibigan. He's really nice at me. I can feel tears from my eyes while flying.

Alam ko na ako ang may dahilan kung mawawala man siya. He's really important in our guild. He's our healer. He shouldn't die just because of me.

After a few minutes, nakarating na kaagad ako sa guild namin at sinalubong ako ni Ms. Elena.

"W-What happened to him?" She asked nervously.

"He was poisoned," I said.

Nagsi-takbuhan na palapit ang iba pang mga sorcerers.

"Wait, Mama Veron is here! She can help him!" She said.

Naglakad na ako papunta sa isang room habang buhat-buhat ko si Vile. Inilapag ko na siya sa kama. Saktong dumating naman si Lola Veron.

She checked Vile's pulses...

"I don't understand, healers are immune to all types of poisons. I don't know what happened to him," Ms. Elena said.

After a second, Lola Veron is done checking him...

"How is he? Is he fine?" I asked nervously.

"Yes he is... Naubos na pala ang kapangyarihan niya kaya tumalab ang lason sa katawan niya. Mabuti na lang at nadala mo siya kaagad dito dahil kung hindi, baka wala na siya ngayon."

Nabigla na lang ako... He knew that healing my friends will exhaust him but he still did it for them; for us.

He's too genuine; too kind. He will really do everything that he can to help this guild; to help us.

"Just wait until he's back with he's consciousness," Lola Veron said.

We are just sitting beside him... I don't understand why he is so brave like this. He's not that strong but he is very determined to help us.

"Hmmm... Did you get the weapon?" Ms. Elena asked.

"Yeah, Sandra is taking care of it. Parating na sila. Binilisan ko lang papunta dito dahil kay Vile," seryoso 'kong sabi.

Maya-maya ay dumating na rin sila Sandra. They surrendered the weapon to our guild leader.

Lumipas na rin ang isang araw, hindi pa rin nagkakamalay si Vile. Inaalagaan naman siya ni Lola Veron.

Naglilibot ako ngayon sa Kreterra. I saw someone who is selling a pendant watch with a design of dove.

I smiled...

This watch will match Vile. May dove symbol pa na bagay talaga sa kanya.

I decided to buy the pendant watch for Vile. I will give it to him if he will wake up.

"Zion, nandito ka lang pala."

I looked back and I saw Sandra. I smiled, hindi ko pa sinasabi kay Sandra na gusto ko siya.

"Bakit mo ako hinahanap? Did you miss me?" I asked while smiling.

Kumunot na lang ang noo niya...

"Gising na si Vile," she said.

"Oh really? That's good to hear! Pupuntahan ko na siya," sabi ko.

Naglakad na ako pero bigla niyang hinawakan ang braso ko...

"Why?" I asked curiously.

She sigh...

"I just want to confirm something," she said nervously.

She sigh again...

"Minsan, nahuhuli kita na nakatitig sa akin. Minsan naman sweet ang pakikipag-usap mo sa akin. Do you like me Zion?" Deretsahan niyang tanong.

I smiled...

Huminga na rin ako ng malalim bago ako nagsalita...

"Yeah, I like you. Humahanap pa nga ako ng timing para sabihin ko sa'yo but you're a seer kaya naunahan mo na naman ako," I said and then I smiled at her.

She's not talking. There's a dead silence between us...

"Hey, are you ok? Ayaw mo ba sa akin?" Nag-aalala 'kong tanong.

She shook her head...

"I like you too Zion. Kahit noong kayo pa ni June, gusto na rin kita pero pakiramdam ko ay hindi tayo ang para sa isa't-isa," she said.

Kumunot na lang ang noo ko.

"Bakit? Nakita mo na ba ang future nating dalawa?"

Umiling-iling lang siya...

"Yun naman pala eh! Ibig sabihin pwedeng maging tayo in the future!" Sabi ko.

"Yeah but..."

Kumunot na naman ang noo ko. Hindi niya matapos ang sasabihin niya.

Hinawakan ko na lang ang mga kamay niya. I should motivate her that there's nothing wrong if we will give a chance to love each other.

"Please Sandra... You're the most amazing girl that I know. Wala 'kang dapat ikatakot sa mga what ifs mo. I know that it's so hard being a seer. Please, just give me a chance and I won't waste it. Hayaan mo ako na ligawan ka," sabi ko.

Tumango na lang siya sa akin...

Ngumiti na ako...

I hugged her tightly. Matagal 'kong pinag-isipang mabuti kung talagang gusto ko si Sandra. Sure na ako na may feelings ako para sa kanya.

Matagal na kaming magkasama sa mga missions naming dalawa. I'm not a seer but I can see that we're going to have a great future.
