DL 6: Vile's Nightmare

Third person POV

Kreterra guild seems to be full of joy because of their new healer. However, in other guild which is full of darkness and rage, sorcerers are also preparing for their first move.

Their guild is made of precious black stones that was designed like a dark palace.

All sorcerers are preparing for a battle. They are doing an intense training. They are all blinded with rage. They are using wrath to make them stronger. Anger and pain are their motivation to become more powerful.

Humans are not capable of entering Ruvekha because death will follow them.

The way through the guild is full of thick fog and beasts.

Their guild is hidden in a very dark black forest where beasts and other creatures exists. Plants and trees in forest are all strange and quite dangerous.

There are few persons that they've captured because of trying to enter their guild. Humans are chained and full of wounds. Some are in jail and still receiving punishment.

Every person that they capture because of entering their guild will suffer the heinous punishment; death.

Inside the guild, their queen is wearing a black gown with full of black gems. Anyone who can see her will shiver in fear because of massive dark energy that she possess.

She is watching the execution of humans that tried to enter their guild. She's merciless. She's full of hate and pain because of what humans did to her.

Inside the guild hall, there are sounds of footsteps that is walking towards their guild leader.

She is wearing a black dress with purple linings. She stopped walking and gave a bow to their leader.

"I really love hearing humans while they are screaming in pain. It gives me chills hahahaha," the queen said.

Her evil laugh will make everyone shiver in fear.

"Good morning my queen. I'm here to tell you my report," she said.

Their guild leader looked at her.

"What is it June?" She asked.

"Kreterra has a new healer. His name is Vile. He is just a new healer that was trained by Veron. He looks timid and weak. What should we do to him, my queen?" June asked.

Their guild leader walked towards June. She looks so frightening.

"Well, I think nakahanap ka na ng katapat mo June. You're a former healer right?" The queen said.

"Kahit kalian, hindi ako matatapatan ng kahit na sinong healer. All of them are so weak and powerless compared to me," June said furiously.

Because of what she said, their queen strangled her neck using her hand. June can't catch her breath.

Elvira's hand is releasing a black magic energy. Her aura is burning June's neck.

"Don't you ever say that all healers are weak. Watch your words June or I will definitely kill you next time!"

All of the sorcerers inside the guild were frightened.

"I'm so-sorry..."

The queen let go of her. She is catching her breath quickly.

Elvira is Veron's daughter. She is Elena's sister. She doesn't want anyone to say anything against her family.

She still care for her family. She was just blinded with pain and rage because of humans.

"My queen, I'm just referring to Vile. He looks so weak and he's no match for me," June said.

June is a former healer before she joined Ruvekha. She's kind and pure hearted before but humans abused her kindness and power to heal.

She converted herself into a black sorcerer in Ruvekha and the cost is her own power as a healer. She discovered a new power inside her but she can no longer heal anyone.

"Prove me that you are worthy in this guild, my child. You already know what you should do," the queen said.

"Yes my queen..."

June took a bow to her queen and after that, she walked away from the guild to start her first mission.

"A new healer? And Vile is his name? Hmmm... His name contradicts himself from being a healer. Should I use him or should I kill him already? Hhaahahahah."

The queen laugh like an evil and demonic villain. Humans that heard her laugh are all shivering in fear.

She's a blood curling person. A sorcerer of darkness. Mistress of evil.

Vile means completely evil or immoral person...

Zion POV

I heard someone screaming so I woke up from my bed.

"It's too early in the morning," I said.

Maya-maya ay natauhan na ako bigla. What the!

The voice that is screaming is from Vile's room!

I ran into his room and I opened the door fast.

Tumambad sa akin si Vile. He's still sleeping but he is screaming and tears are falling from his eyes.

Lumapit na kaagad ako sa kanya...

"Hey Vile! Wake up!"

Hindi siya nagigising. Umiiyak lang siya at sumisigaw. What should I do?

"Hey please wake up!"

I'm slapping his cheeks softly but he is still not waking up. I don't know what should I do.

After a few moments, bigla na lang siyang bumangon at nanginginig siya sa takot. Gising na siya.

"Hey? What happened?" I asked.

Napatingin siya sa akin. I saw fear from his eyes.

"I had a nightmare..." He said in a cracking voice.

"Shhhh... Calm down," I said.

Pinunasan ko na lang ang mga luha niya. Nanginginig pa rin siya sa takot.

"Do you remember your dream?" I asked.

He nodded...

"I-I saw a weapon on my dream. It's a very powerful weapon," he said.

He is shivering in fear...

"A weapon? Then what kind of weapon it is?" I asked curiously.

He looks so scared. He still continue speaking so I listen to him.

"It looks like a trident pero dalawa lang ang blades sa dulo. It's dark and full of black magic energy. I saw dragon carvings on its handle. It's like a staff and there's a blood red gem in the middle of the two blades."

Nag-isip ako... What kind of weapon it is? Ngayon ko lang narinig ang ganitong weapon.

"Sabihin natin kay Ms. Elena ang napanaginipan mo," I said.

Tumango na lang siya. Napansin ko na takot na takot pa rin siya.

"Hey... Ano ba talaga ang napanaginipan mo? You look so frightened," I asked.

He looked into my eyes. Kitang-kita ko ang pag-aalala niya.

"A dark sorcerer used that weapon against you. I saw you lifeless," he said and then he cried louder.

Nagulat tuloy ako dahil sa sinabi niya. I don't know how to react.

Maybe it was just a dream but I feel strange.

"Ok, Vile walang mangyayaring masama. Please calm down and if I die, then what? I would gladly offer my life to serve our guild."

Napatingin siya sa mga mata ko. Kita ko ang pag-aalala niya sa sinabi ko.

"But I don't want to. I can't afford to lose you..."

Nabigla tuloy ako dahil sa sinabi niya. I don't know what I should say. He's sincere and serious about what he said.

"I promise... I will do everything to protect you, Zion. I will protect you always. The way you protected and saved me before," he said sincerely.

I sigh...

"I can handle myself, Vile. Don't take this negatively but you don't need to protect me. I'm more powerful than you," I said seriously.

"I don't care if you are more powerful than me as long as I have the power to protect you. I will prove it to you. Someday, I will be the one who will protect and save you," he said.

He's very determined. Ngayon lang ako nakakilala ng taong kagaya niya. Siguro ay tinatanaw niya lang ang utang na loob niya sa akin.

Ngumiti na lang ako at ginulo ko ang buhok niya.

"Matulog ka na nga lang. We still have classes tomorrow. Madaling araw na, baka mapuyat tayo pareho," I said.

"Ok... Good mornight," he said and he smiled at me.

"Good mornight," I replied.

Bumalik na ako sa kwarto ko. I think about Vile. He's so sincere about protecting and saving me even I didn't ask him to do it for me.

Iniisip ko rin ang sinabi niya na napanaginipan niya. What if it's true that someone will kill me in the near future? What should I do to prevent it or to defeat that dark sorcerer?

Siguro masasagot naman ni Sandra ang tanong ko about this one. Kaya naman ng kapangyarihan niya na makita ang future.

Feeling ko makakasundo ko naman si Vile dito sa bahay kasi mabait siya at sincere sa lahat ng mga sinasabi niya.

Teka... What if may information naman dito sa bahay about the weapon that Vile told me?

Yeah right... Bumangon ako ulit at pumunta ako sa isang room dito sa bahay. I pushed a button in a cabinet then it opened. Tumambad sa akin ang isang daanan pababa.

My parents created a secret room for books and information that they collected about sorcerers.

Pagbaba ko ay tumambad sa akin ang napakadaming mga libro. Mas malawak ang library sa Kreterra kung ikukumpara dito.

Naglibot ako sa loob... Nandito rin ang mga gamit nila mama noon. I am using this room to study spells and research about sorcerers.

Kumuha ako ng mga libro about magical weapons na ginamit ng mga sorcerers noon.

Binuklat ko na lahat ng mga libro pero wala naman akong makita na kagaya ng sinasabi ni Vile.

There are so many weapons that sorcerers were used before.

Pagbuklat ko ng isang page ay may tumambad sa akin na drawing ng isang weapon.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. The image looks exactly like what Vile told me. It looks like a staff with two blades at the end and there's a gem in the middle of it. There is also dragon carvings in the weapon's body.

May nakasulat... Only sorcerers can read this characters at mabuti na lang ay inaral ko.

"Deus Ve Roca"

It is known as the 'Staff of Darkness'. This weapon was wielded by Heinous, a demigod of darkness.

It can only be used by a powerful dark master magician.

If a sorcerer's power is not dark or not strong enough, this weapon will not work.

This weapon can be used to summon evil forces like demons. It can control darkness and all black magic energy in the world.

Tumayo ang mga balahibo ko dahil sa nabasa ko. So, if Vile's nightmare is true, this weapon will be used to kill me in the future?

Sino naman kaya ang gagamit nito para patayin ako?

I should train harder. Maybe, I am not capable of being a demigod but I know that I can be stronger than this. I should protect myself; I should protect our guild.

"Zion, nasaan ka?"

Inayos ko na ang mga libro at binalik ko sa dating pagkakaayos. Rinig ko na hinahanap ako ni Vile.

I closed the secret room at lumabas na ako sa kwarto. I looked at the window and I saw the sun rays. Inabot na pala ako ng umaga sa pagbabasa ng mga libro.

"Hmmm... Zion, kanina pa kita hinahanap. Where have you been?" Vile asked.

"Naghanap lang ako ng pandesal kaso wala pa raw luto," palusot ko.

"Ganun ba? Sige, punta na tayo sa dining. I cooked breakfast for you," he said while smiling.

I just followed him. Ayokong may ibang makaalam tungkol sa secret room ng parents ko Wala akong pinagkakatiwalaan tungkol sa room na 'yun.

Nakarating kami sa dining at may sinangag, itlog at sausages.

"Kain na tayo..."

Si Vile pa ang naglagay ng pagkain sa plato ko. He's too caring.

"Hmmm... What do you want Zion? Coffee or milk?" He asked.

"Coffee, but put more milk on it," I said.

Pumunta agad siya sa kusina para magtimpla ng kape. Inaamin ko na naiilang talaga ako kasi masyadong maalaga si Vile.

"Ito na Zion..."

Tinikman ko kaagad ang kape at tamang-tama lang sa panlasa ko. I like coffee with more milk.

"Siya nga pala, ginawa mo na ba 'yung assignment for today?" He asked.

Halos maibuga ko ang kape. Nawala na sa isip ko. Our prof leave us an assignment.

"Hi-hindi ko pa nagagawa. I forgot to do it," I said.

Ngumiti lang sa akin si Vile at parang medyo natatawa siya.

"Don't worry... Sinabay ko na kagabi nung gumawa ako ng assignment ko. I know that you have so many priorities. I love helping you Zion. Don't hesitate to ask help from me," he said while smilng.

"Thanks..." Sabi ko na lang.

He is just smiling at me while I'm drinking my coffee.

He's too kind; too caring. Isa 'to sa mga iniisip ko. Sa totoo lang naiilang na talaga ako. What if siya pala ang sinasabi ni Sandra na nakita niya sa mga mata niya?

What if he's the one who will love me and do everything for me?

It's creepy... Sana mali ang iniisip ko. I can't afford to have a gay lover.
