Inside, the town was rowdy and the streets were filled with men, women and children. All were buying, selling or just busying themselves with other activities. Karen slowly walked through the swarm of people with Neville moving beside her as a dog. She held her shawl closely to her bent face as she looked around while walking. The place was noisy as various people conversed in high tones while buying and selling. Their native language sounded strange. It was something Karen has never heard before.
